Hi! I've been playing this series for quite a while, and recently (Arma 1 with my old computer and this one, and now with arma 2) I've had issues with the volume being really, really loud. I mean ear-splittingly loud. I leave the volume bars at "one step above off" and it's still very loud (not AS loud as on max, but still way to loud). This would not be a problem (i could reduce the system volume), but I need to be able to hear what my friends are saying on voice-chat (ventrilo for example), and it's simply not possible. Any ideas on why this is happening?
I have a "soundMAX HD audio" on my mainboard.
