Hey all, Firstly, very excited about this game, it has huge potential to be fantastic and for me, the engine runs smooth as silk! Ive not found the manual all that helpfull, Ive managed to work most things out but... I cant for the life of me work out how to build a command center on a neutral island, take a Walrus with a building module - then what? Doesent seem to let me do anything - pritty sure I found the command area, but still nothing. Any pointers? :)

Yeh I saw your arma mark and thats what made me install XP :) Unfortunatly it didnt help me at all, my mark was around 2600 rather than 2900 :/ Im using a ATI 4870, so yes its proberbly more Nvidia than ATI on XP :)

I tried XP myself, it was actually slower than on my Vista install! However as a general "rule" with BIS games, XP's usually alot better than Vista - just hope that BIS patch it :/

Someones living in the past ^^ Vista can infact be faster than XP for gaming with the right rig :)

Guess I mayaswell try this, problem is though being on Vista 64 ATI Tray tools is a pain :/

Ive done some more testing, of both SP and MP. The strange thing that ive found is that in MP, the FPS tends to start (for me) as the same as it is in SP (60 FPS or there abouts). However, wether i stand still, and do not move - or move, this after around 20 seconds or so starts to drop to around 30 FPS +/- a few fps, and stays there. Very strange :/

I have this problem too. Vsync is ON, all normal settings i get constant 60FPS in SP. MP, 30 or below - Very annoying, very un-smooth - low/high etc makes no difference :( Phenom II 920 4GB Ram 4870 1GB Vista X64 *Hopes for a patch / a fix soon!* It does create alot of stutter in MP - its just not as good as it should be :(

Score: 2800.41 (after a few runs) Is this about right? - It does play pritty laggy for any settings on my system for some reason :( Settings: All normal Post Process @ Low 1680x1050 100% Fillrate Specs: AMD Phenom 920 @ Stock 4GB DDR800 4870 1GB Xonar D2 Vista 64bit Woundering wether id benefit from installing XP again (32bit) :/

Just tried this version, very good fun as per usual (once id gone to low) ;) Only thing ive noticed is, my ArmA 2 runs smooth as silk in SP/MP missions except crCTI - where for some reason or other the FPS drop is extremely large (from smooth playable, to unplayable) - weird :/
