  1. Thanks for the help guys, problem solved. It was the whole param1 thing I couldn't remember, had it in my description.ext but couldn't remember the syntax needed for the trigger!
  2. I wonder if anyone can help me out here. I did a search for this Wait for Host issue and found some discussion about it on ArmA one, but (probably due to "newbieness" on my own part, I struggled to see the solution) When I upload a custom map to my server and place it in "mpmissions" and restart the server, once I join it it simply holds at Wait for Host. Several people mention setting a default map might solve this issue but I couldn't find out in my searches how to do that, or if there is another solution to this issue. Sorry if this is considered double posting or something, I wanted to put this on the ArmA2 forum since I didn't see any discussion here about it. I also have an issue setting my server to have 3rd person view disabled, but I guess that's a story for another day and I am still trying to get my head around the solution posted on these forums...
  3. I have established the time and score limit options in the Description.ext but I cannot for the life of me remember how to actually make the mission execute this? Example, the default time limit is 20 minutes, but the mission doesn't actually end. Presumably I need a trigger that takes how long was specified and then activates but I have no clue on the syntax etc for this trigger so was wondering if someone can help me out so I can actually make my DM map end! :P
  4. Both are controlled by "Post Processing Effects". Setting them to disabled turns off the bloom and blur.
  5. Mine also arrived today from Shopto.net...Unfortunately I'm at work so can't install it right now. However, I finish early and booked Friday off. WIN :) Must resist the temptation to create a cardboard cutout of myself and flee the building even earlier...
