Last night I was playing with everything very high at 1900x1200 with 1900x1200 3D resolution. The game played perfect. Today I install the patch and the game stutters when I move. If I move my view it stutters but then the stutter stops if I look again. It is like the game has loaded what I have viewed and then it is smooth but it loses it soon after. Also I am getting black and whit flashing when loading a scenario. Is this the GPU memory? I have i7 920 with GTX295. I thought the new patch fixed this, for me it has created it!

My performance is worse. Getting black and white flashing on loading. Also really bad stuttering when loading views but stabilises when looking around again.

How do I do the mem addon? I have 6GB and I don't know how to do it. Is the performance increase much better?

Doe arma2 use less memory? Does this instruct arma2 to use more? Is the performabce gain much? I have 6GB so should be okay.

What is the maxmem line? I have same setup with 6GB RAM. You should OC your i7 920. It will run 3.2GHz with only changing your BCLK to 160. Everything else on auto.

How do I change the exe mod in the arma 2 folder so that it runs properly. Do I rename the arma.exe to crysis.exe? I want to try it to see how it changes. I have vista64. I have the latest nvidea drivers and I now have the game running with all very high settings at 1900x1200 3D resolution. I went into the nvidea controlpanel and manage 3d settings then program settings. Then click add and direct it towards the arma 2 icon in the arma 2 folder and click arma 2 open. It is definately running sli as my GPU temps are running 80C and the game is now playing as it should. PERFECT.

Mine now works. Everything nice and smooth abd looking the way it should. It worked for me. What do I do to add the exe mod? Interested to see what that does?.I have vista 64bit.

At the top when you click ADD, look in the DRIVE C or D. Whatever one arma 2 is located,then program files, bohemia interactive, Arma2, and then double click arma 2 icon.

I have heard that to get the GTX295 to run in SLi mode, I need to change certain settings. What driver should I use and what is the .exe change I need to make? Anything else? Thanks to any help and replies.

I am using i7 920 and GTX295 and the latest drivers 186 are useless with Arma 2. When will this get fixed?

What resolution do you play at Nemesis? Also what do you have view distance and fillrate set to?

I will try the 190 drivers tto. Nemesis I have not used the crysis.exe. No need to. The game runs great with 185.XX Makes me wonder what the guys at NVIDIA do all day,smoke weed? What do you think of the GTX295?

Thats how mine runs and I have a core i7 920 with GTX295. Seems about right nemesis.

182.50. NVIDEA drivers have been rubbish since April. Don't touch them. I think the problem is these GTX295 cards are not being utilised or optimised for. I have a 295 and I wish I had gone for 2 285's SLi. My current card, EVGA red edition 295 is on it's way back for inspection. The card arrived with some sort of corrosion around the sli port.

I have been looking forward to this game since ARMA1. Got it today and what a total disaster. I have re-installed twice and get so many bugs it's actually quite funny now. I cannot select anything highr than normal in graphic sttings texture detail,video memory and terrain detail. The textures do not load on objects. And with a core i7920 OC'd at 3.4, 12GB RAM and a GTX295 it runs awful. Straight to the back of the queue with this game.

Yes the game is playable,not perfect but playable. I have everthing else at very high apart fro shadow quality at high. What should view distance be set to?

What is your level of detail and view distance set to? I have both of mine at the maximum level,200% and 10,000 I think.

Go back to the 182.50 drivers. The latest ones are rubbish. Try 182.50 and see what happens.

Anyone with nvidia cards, revert back to 182.50. No problems at all with those drivers. Great game and performs as advertised with those drivers.

I am reverting back to 182.50 to see if performance improves. What should fillrate be set to?

Hello everyone, new nvidea 186 driver released today. I am getting mouse pointer lag and textures not loading. What can I say? The game is clearly a mess. What's with the 12GB reply?
