Played DR PC version, not my cup of tea, felt more like a Ghost Recon franchise, gfx was ok "brown pallette" but not compared to AA2, landscape also felt more artifical like an Ghost Recon map, first mission to destroy a Early warning radar site was also more like a in Mercenaries 2, but Mercenaries 2 was made to be fun with humour, and also why to be inserted by Blackhawk approx 700m from main target and 300 m from closest enemy sentry post, and the guards didnt noticed the UH-60 passing by approx 90 m from their position? Anyway perhaps this game will attract folks that getting tired of Battlefield,, but it will probably fade away because of the lack of support of a community like the one commited to Arma2, and i also believe that lots of the people that had issues with Arma2 will not find salvation in DR unfortantly

Probably the most realistic simulation ive ever played, had some crashes with 1.02 and problem with Supershooter AI but feels like 1.03 is more stable and AI is less superior marksmen. But like in real combat it is hard to find the shooter specially when firing from long range( own experince from Balkans)

It is a lot difference to load a old 105 mm tank, my loader in an old Centurion tank loaded at 3,2 seconds with Sabot. That is impossible with a 120mm because of the weight and also the handling of the rounds with seperate ammo storage and blastdoors that has to be shut when firing the main gun. Believe that 7-8 seconds is a very good loading time for a 120mm tank

Yes you hear a crack and i also saw like a thin smoketrail, don´t know if it was from oil in the barrel from the AK47, when bullet passed by my head from behind

Euro forces(Sweden) :-) Something like iTunes with quality control for modders and DLC, modders can make a buck on high quality models and scenarios. Easier for newbies like me to find good stuff to download without have to search everywhere.

Enter singelplayer, scenarios, my missions, new missions, template4 combat, place insertion where you wanna be, set time. And you got a total war with ´random missions,, when you want to play co-op with the mission you did, in the folder in My documents, copy that mission to MP Missions,, ---------- Post added at 09:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:21 PM ---------- You get Airstrikes, arty and UAV as well in this mission,, and supply drops later on,, it is so cool

Played it since friday, framerate and stability is exellent, found out a new favorite, the single mission generator and attack mode, awesome stuff, and when the mission is done just copied the mission to the MP Mission folder and ive got a exellent co-op mission with random total war and random missions for our team,, just awesome, probably the best game expirence since Operation Flashpoint era.
