  3. Hi Guys, Just wanted some advice on a problem i am having with ARMA2 + 1.03 patch. System Details: Gainward NVIDIA 295 1792MB GFX card 30" Dell 2560 x 1600 display Striker Extreme M/B 4 Gig DDR2 1033Mhz Memory Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz Processor SSD 128Gig Drive 250MB/s (main drive) 4 x 500Gig SATA II internal HDDs for storage. I have just reinstalled my machine with Windows 7 RC1 and have installed the Certified NVIDIA drivers version 190.62. The problem i am seeing in the GFX settings of ARMA2 is that if i enable AA when i click apply my machine locks up. I am running the game with everything maxed appart from the view distance which i have tried in different setting and at a resolution of 2560x1600 Anyone know of any bugs that could cause this? Thanks Mithandra
  4. Hi guys, Well I have just ordered the New Dell 3008wfp 30" monitor which can take a resolution of 2560 x 1600, along with the Gainward Nvidia GTX 295 1796mb video card. Can anyone tell me if this game can support running in a resolution of 2560 x 1600? Thanks Mithandra
  5. Hi Guys, Just come back from town with ARMA2 in hand whoopeeee. Installed the game perfectly on Windows 7 RC1. Setup all my opions and entered the list of Multiplayer servers. I am able to join the game (ir run about with a weapon) but only for a few seconds / (sometimes minutes) I then get a red chain on the screen and a counter in the middle of the screen saying nothing recieved for x time. ALT Tabbing back to the desktop I can see my network Icon in the lower right system tray now has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Only way I can get my network back is to disable and then re-enable my interface. I have played DnD Online successfully for hours but for some reason this game is doing something that its not supposed to. Anyone help / suggest anything with this please? Thanks Mithandra
  6. Hi The problem with the game only happend when i went to play online, the single player part worked perfectlywith everything maxed out. I also tried Dungeons & Dragons Online and got the same error were the game was hanging when it tried to connect to the online servers. I thought it might have been Windows Firewall or something but after manually putting in a rule to allow the ARMA2.exe in and out and also trying with the firewall turned off i was not able to get past the same above problem I was not sure if it was a bug in RC1 or a specific game problem. How did you pass the firewall? System Specs: Inter Core 2 Quad Q9950 2.83 GHz Striker Extreme M/B Galaxy 1000Watt PSU XFX NVidia 8800 GTX 768 MB x 2 in SLI (also tried without SLI) Thanks Mithandra
  7. Hi Guys, I have been running Windows 7 RC1 perfectly since it was released and am using it on my main system. Problem i was having is that if i try and join a listed multiplayer game from the multiplayer screen all i get is a black screen saying loading. I have also tried Dungeons & Dragons Online and the same happends there also. I was wondering can anyone confirm they are using Windows 7 and have played ARMA2 online? Thanks Mithandra
