Hi all, looking for a team, I'm 35, played from the very first flashpoint, but never had an internet connection fast enough to justify joining. (it still isnt overly fast but may suffice) I still live in the middle of nowhere with a GMT +5. Australian resident, living and working overseas. A sporting shooter in real life, with a knack for ballistics and trajectories and cooking hot loads. Look forward to hearing from you all. -

Just to bump this and annoyingly ask again, how is the next one coming along? -
Figured the vehicle out, and this is strange too. I give the order, then team switch to one of the other players, the rest get in the vehicle, then switch back to my character, give the order to mount again, swith back to a team member already in the vehicle and the last one gets on. Switch back to my character and the team is loaded... Incredibly difficult to get them off again.. Still havent fixed the weapon issue though... P.S. What are the 2 grunts standing at the start for?

Hi folks, great mission but a quick question, I get the No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.ACE_SCAR_L_ACOG just before the briefing screen. I downloaded ACE, ACEX CBA etc etc yesterday and I can access all the Scar variants in armory, yet they dont show up in the mission weapon selection screen. Also at the very start of the mission I cannot load any of the soldiers into the vehicle.. Any pointers?

@Jason, just to say yeah, hollow points are devastating against unarmored targets, as my sig says, thermal hydraulic displacement is where the fluids in your body are super heated as the pressure of the spreading projectile causes such rapid friction, that all fluids are basically have a temp of 120 degrees Celsius + resulting in minced "cooked" meat. Nasty, nasty stuff. Never served in the forces, but have been and always will be an avid hunter and gun smith. Velocities, ballistic trajectories and spread patterns are my game.

You have to physically create the campaign folder if you don't have one. In your main Arma2 directory, right click, create new folder and name it Campaigns Then save all your user made campaigns there.

Guys, is there something I need to disable/enable to make the Ace buttons work, I've searched all the wiki's, read threads on the Dev forums but I just can't get my guy to reload the ammo for the mounted weapons. On the same note, I just realised after reading the forums that when I press the right windows key, I don't get any of the options that are supposed to appear, this includes healing, etc. @Sick1, how is campaign 4 progressing? I watched The Shooter for the hundredth time and the snow scene gives me a hard on!

Yeah, tried that.... sooo many times, I expected the long load times as the TOW on the Humvee takes ages, but i guess i will try it again. Any second opinions? Jason, didnt you have some issues with mounted weapons in the earlier missions? Maybe the hostage mission?

Hey Jason/Marbessi, quick question, I'm on Iron.... Still! I have the AGs + the M2 setup on the hill with a shit load of ammo but noone in my crew can reload the ammo? Only 2 of the crew can mount them, Specter and Reaver but neither can add ammo to the guns?? What's missing? And man, if I wasn't working 15 hour days I'd be right there with you! Like the mission updates too, although I use the intel to develop my own strategies.. :) All in all, a huge thanks Sick1, where would Arma2 be without such a dedicated crew... We are blessed! Now it's time to rain down he'll! ( with empty guns :( )

Sick1, any news on option 3? By the way, in the campaign, mission 2, after verifying the body, loading the trojan, i stole the kamaz truck ( i think thats how its spelled) and drove around unhindered running over everybody, and completing the remaining 2 objectives.. I'm sure thats not in the script? :)

Hey sick, been a while but what a scene to come back to! Just got all the ACE stuff loaded up, no dramas, and I'm looking forward to getting into Campaign 3. I've downloaded the Swiss weapons mod and would love to use some of the SiG weapons (flashback to Stalker) in your campaign, however none of the weapons show up. Yes all the addon folders are correct, just wondering if its something from the developers end that needs to be done?

Just a quick question for all, what are your favourite weapon load outs for these missions? Whilst I understand that each mission calls for a specific set of weapons, on average I seem to end up using the silenced Mk 12 with the C90 for heavies, and the micro Uzi for close encounters. -

Yeah, but no.. Cleared the machine gun nests, even found a sniper hiding in the forest after levelling the whole base. But I think you answered my question, everybody has to die, right? So there's probably one more sneaky coward F""&$R hiding in the forest somewhere. Thanks for the heads up. -

Agreed, there's not a lot of quality user made campaigns out there, so encouragement and constructive criticism should be the order of the day. If you don't like these campaigns, please feel free to check out the OPFDR user made campaigns! -

Sick1 just a quick question, on Eagle Claw on the final mission does it matter if I am detected before assaulting the base? I have redone the mission 3 times, literally flattening everything at the base but the mission won't complete. Am I missing something? -

No luck Sick1, I rechecked all mods and they are the latest versions. The second mission did have the missing deagle in bin file message so I reinstalled the pistol pack but it still comes up. I'm using the Arma Launcher 1.6.2. Its very strange that the first 2 missions worked flawlessly but the 3rd wont start. Any ideas anyone? -

Sick1, awesome missions. I've finished the second mission, but the game freezes as its loading the 3rd, have to CTRL+ALT+DLT and end process. This seems to suggest to me that one of the mods isnt correctly installed or is an old version. Could you tell me which mods are required for the 3rd mission, that isnt required for the first two? This would help me to shortlist the error folder. And loved the town full of VSS cronies! -

@ Kenjineering. K I have almost the same system as you, and the strange thing is I ran the game fine,(40-60 fps) in campaign with all very high, 1920x1080, no AA and view distance @ 3500. (same settings in Armamark2 - 3300) 186.06 Then I updated vista 64 to SP2, and goodnight Irene, it all went seriously pear shaped. Now I'm at 24-28 fps in campaign. (dogs of war)
