Ok, you know, I'm actually inclined to agree with MJB on a number of points in relation to the game, and of course the imbalances witnessed not only in video games but life in general. I dont however believe that (no use for a name) was attacking his IQ, nor his grammatical abilities, and none of us with these aforementioned abilites should take offence that we might be labeled "gay" What I dont agree with, is the way MJB delivered his message, and that is why he/she recieved a bit of a ribbing from my end (no pun intended)..... It was a lengthy, overtly colourful example of a simple point, but I guess in between writing scripts for the Pirates of Penzance and the stage production of Carry on XXXX, one needs to have a creative outlet somewhere.... And I feel blessed. Last point, MJB's admiration of Wahabiism would pretty much exlude ALL of MJB's points/gripes as there would be no females in any of those roles, unless of course they were getting stoned to death or blowing themselves up... Inshah Allah... -

Serious Plants/flora Performance Issue! (SLI/multigpu)(video evidence)

Nice to hear FraG, been following your plight, good luck with the testing.. -
I am really concerned with what I've seen here, I am currently running Arma 2 on a Toshiba x205 with an 8700 GT OC'd to hell and back. (not that it means much.. easy moosenoodles, but Armamark score is 2200 on the 3rd run) I bought the German version the day it came out, and this is my 3rd time through the campaign. I've played this game to the best of my Laptops ability, which isn't great, but come next week I have a monster rig arriving, and judging by the posts here, I could have waited 6-8 months and paid less for the same rig, plus the game would actually be playable/optimised. I played OFP, then was fortunate to come into Arma 1 at version 1.08 and find 1.14 excellent. But the timeline between the release of Arma 1 & 1.14 is what really gets me... Hopefully someone, somewhere, has an epiphany and we find a broad ranging solution.

Haven't noticed it, but will keep an ear out for it. On another note though, hiding behind a cabin and hearing the bullets strike wood and glass is absolutely priceless.

Unfortunately, with the M107,a hit on any part of the body results in instant death, even in the ankle. Now I would be happier if we could see limbs being removed, as that would be slightly more realistic than recieving a tap on the ankle (albeit a very nasty tap!)

Its a bug, try and build your buildings well spaced. I've had truck's crash into each other repeatedly until they explode..... -

How strange, I have played through this part three times. The first time (1.01), I had the cannot move bug, but then worked out that I hadn't followed the script. Second time, still (1.01) I managed to wait until 5 pm, spoke to the Napa guys but called the chopper (given the option) which was shot down. Third time, (1.02)I chose to go with the Napa guys, BUT am told to board the chopper by HQ, which I did, but still got shot down of course.

Absolutely brilliant! Thanks W0lle, brings back a lot of old memories!

Installed 1.02 now my squad won't move
armafreak replied to Python1's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
I'm not up to it yet, but the signs are very positive, during Manhattan I now have artillery and transport where as I didn't have it before. An interesting point though, since ArmaIIMark seems to require at least 3 attempts (restarts) to load stuff into memory, I've started saving after any new missions being given, then reverting (reloading) a few times. Not sure if its luck or my wishful thinking, but everything has worked well so far (scripts,FPS). Fingers crossed it stays that way... -

Installed 1.02 now my squad won't move
armafreak replied to Python1's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
I had the same problem with patch 1.01, did it solo and after the cut scene my squad joined automatically. After the base was built, i recieved control over the friendlies as well (still at the top of the hill). After installing 1.02, same problem, so I gave up and started the whole campaign again.. -
Is it possible to add these to the existing SP missions folder?
