I ran the demo and it works well enough (except for that mouse lag thing), but i'm hoping with the new patch i'll get better fps and no lag because I heard that got fixed thanks!

it does seem like the benchmarks are off. If you look at the game settings they used and translate a few, they had a few things on very high. I dunno if this is why the game is so hard to run for them, though.

*facepalm how did I not see that thread, I'll remember that for the future and I'm not sure I want to take up the task of building a computer, though I've heard it's not that hard. I'll look to a couple of my friends for help building it, sounds fun in any case, would any of those rigs be able to run ArmA 2 at med settings at least? thanks for the help

After discovering this game, I was amazed by the realism and scope of the game. I've been looking into a new computer, and was wondering which would be the best that would let me run ArmA 2 at good settings. If you guys could help me out it'd be greatly appreciated.
