How do you show your FPS is this game. Is there a list of console commands somewhere?

AGREE 100% Me and my girlfriend were playing the other night and I sprinted like 50 meters. The second I saw myself starting to black out I instantly stopped and waited to recover under a tree. Me and my girl sat there and watch the dude breath heavy for 30 minutes before he recovered. (yes we timed it)... I had a friend come over the other night and I tried to show him the game. He couldn’t stop passing out… We would restart and he would just passout again. He was like “this is a cool game if I could actually get anywhere†It’s because he has not played the game for endless hours and doesn’t know the limits. Someone should make a mod that mods ACE mod without stamina. We both love the ACE mod but the stamina is ridiculous. It’s a great idea, it’s just not implemented properly. Maybe a visual indicator would help.

I have the same board and everything works fine. I used to get CTD but I just set my video card fan to run faster when I play Arma2 and its worked ever since. I play for hours on end with no crash. Here are my specs Intel Core i7 920 @ Stock || ASUS P6T DELUXE V2 || OCZ Platinum 6GB DDR3 1600 || EVGA GTX285 FTW Edition 2GB VRAM || HD 640G WD 7K 16M || CORSAIR 750W PSU || 42" 1080p LCD Monitor || Razor Black Mamba Mouse || Track IR 5 Pro || Windows 7100 Nvidia Drivers 191.03 Onboard sound is disabled. I use a old soundblaster audigy 2 z gamer

Well I solved this issue by installing EVGA precision and setting my fan to %100 before I play. Default was at %40 and I think it was getting just a little to hot.

I get the same thing sometimes. One night I was drunk and the game kept crashing so I would just launch it again right after the CTD. The next morning I woke up and checked my taskmanager for some other reason and I had 5 or 6 arma2.exe's running...That was like 4gigs of ram...LOL But I didnt even notice cuz the game was still running fine.... (I mean normal:rolleyes:). Do you know what species you need? Apparently we have Pistacia plantations here in Phoenix Arizona…I’m might be able to find one. Oh any my girlfriend is a pro photographer too, so that might help.

I havent seen that but you could try ALT+ENTER. That is the fullscreen command for other apps. I am at work and cannot try it.

Yeah, whos running this mickey mouse operation. Its a good beta and all, and it was worth my 50 bucks. I even bought a copy for my other computer but common lets get the ball rolling and finish up the game. More interaction with the community would be a start. Is it just me or does it seem like there is a bit of a language and cultural barrier here?

Maybe its the time of dat or the weather is overcast. Try setting nice weather and 5:30pm in the editor for nice shadows and bright colors.

Good news, Can't wait to get home from work and try it.

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right directions. I am not see any shadows on anything. I have AMD4600X2 and 8800GTX with latest drivers. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling driver and I have tried all the video setting possible. I still dont get any shawdows. Is this a known issue. I tried searching but didnt find anything. ---------- Post added at 10:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:45 PM ---------- nvm, i fixed it, I just reinstalled the patch arma 1.2 and it worked.

I have heard of fraps. Is this how people can tell how many fps they are getting? I am not trying to record any video. I just wanna guage my performance. Thanks.
