ill paly as well next time, i was playing night coop on kellys heroes and let me tell you that was the best game yet. we had atleast 35 guys who were all playing right, it was awesome. the helo pilots were great and the squads were great. we actually broke up into about 3 groups and all raided kranso together. we really laid the hammer down until a crap load of tanks showed up.

currently id say there are a few hundred players with about 5 or 6 servers usually at full or close capacity there are alot of servers but most show empty when im on. just wait till its released in US, there will be plenty more

when i think about it now, AA3 being available through steam was probably the worst thing they could have done. they should of just kept it he way it always was

i could only hope that the helo controls and sensitivity are similar to the desert combat mod from good ole bf1942, those were definitely the best controls ever. complete manual control, awesome sensitivity. if so then i guess piloting the blackhawk will be one of my main playing styles.

how close are we talking here like 10feet close??? if so then of course its not going to explode the projectiles need some distance to arm.

from the little i have been able to play of AA3, the training has been redone with alot more training areas and thigns to do. the graphics are nice, but the whole auth server thing taken a dump has practically paralyzed this game. peoples stats do not save, most of the servers dont work, and bugs...well of course there are bugs!!!

check it out on the steam forums for AA3 they have the link there i think, my internet is coming to a halt becuz im dling 6 of the 12 arma2 files at same time

i have a feeling there wont be as many on this game as on AA3. AA3's release was bad, everything screwed up, the entire dev team was fired. i think the end is near for that game.

well unfortunely u will prob need a $500 video card, or at least $500 worth of gpu, cpu, ram

u said you got a digital dl ver off a uk website? meaning when its released on the 19th a person in the us can purchase it from there and play it earlier then the us ver from steam. and it is already in english... what this website?????

check out the search function and yes theres some chatter about a demo being released before the uk ver is released.

live in florida, and i see that the only other US place to buy it is cd wow. i noticed it was going for $40 bucks and the release is the 19th i no that when the UK ver is out so does that mean the version on CD wow is the uk ver and if so would there be compatibility issues with the disc?

whenever i dl something from steam its at a rate of 350kb or so, takes ridiculously long, i can dl larger files off the internet quicker.
