Hi, i remember starting ArmaII where i tried out a programm which can change the Contrast and Colours via a Textfile in Arma2 but i cant find it no more;-( Atm the outwashed colours annoying me and i want to get more Contrast and nice colours. Is there any addon released yet, or any possibilitys with an ATI Card and CCC to change that? Thanks!..
  2. Only got 4 Gig Ram so i have to get another tweak maybe. i got 2 physical Harddrives. Im running the smaller one with XP where i play Arma. Does it make sense to move the ArmaII installation to my Vista Hardrive,still playing under XP, starting from the Vista Hardrive? Also i think the Vista HD, which is newer Hardrive, got more RPM, guess 7200.does this make it faster also?

    Fist off all i also must say OUTSTANDING Work!!!Those Weapons are sugar,love to play with them. Now theres a little issue with the SD versions. I want the whole Silence feeling cause im working on a Sneak Mission. If my aI is shooting the Weapons they are not silenced anymore at all, on short distance[behind or in front of me].Would be cool if you looking into this.Thx fot the awesome work:)
  6. Great Work,like that much! But i had a funny issue here.I was playing my mission only with the Standart Vehicle Modul,not placed Alice and yours.As the start fighted some russian soldiers were jumping in cars and driving directly in my direction lol

    Report: HD5870 & ArmA 2

    This might be a bit OT but i have to ask. Im playing Arma on E8400 3.00 not overclocked and HD4850, would say its middle class still. Im fine with the results at all Im running it smooth with VeryHigh on textures,video memory + AF, no AA. Objects,Scenery and Shadows are high.Viewdistance 2000. My questions is, do you guys with the superrigs still have that terrible annoying textures popping up? Still with the Betapatch[they reduced it a bit] there is that flickering and popup of textures for me. I guess its a streaming problem isnt it?

    1. Yes, you just cant play that game without Patch 1.4 Download it. 2.The campaign is still bit bugged,but with 1.4 good playeble 3.Get into the Editor, start creating own scenarios,thats were the real fun starts;)
  10. As the Topic says, i installed ArmaII under XP, cant start it with Vista caused of the missing Registry Key for Arma i guess. Is there a way to get the XP Key[i need the exact file...] into Vista, so you not have to install it again?Thx allready...!
  11. Its Vista 64 Bit, but i really dont want to install Arma again at all...; Takes like 45 minutes with patching...and much space..Is it soo complicated to get the registry entrys over/is it allready possible with 64Bit to XP 32?

Hi, first off all i have to say that i searched trough many threads and watched for guides which make it easier, but i dont get so far with that...So here are some questions, would be nice if i get some anwers!.. For Intros and Cutscenes you create a .sqs file, can you everywhere and anytime call this sqs file to execute cutscenes? Is it important to choose the Intro Section in the editor, or can you call Cutscenes everywhere also in the normal mission part? How do you call cutscenes/camerascenes.Thought its just "this exec "Intro.sqs"; isnt it?     Arma 3!!! Your Expectations

    I would LOVE to see Arma 3 with a new Engine, new Animations AND in a WW2 Scenario. This would be :yay: but to be true i dont got many hopes on that:(
  16. The RTE Editor is the Answer for MANY questions, like,"how can i get units in/on top of the buildings. I really recommend you to get this addon.You can easily place units everywhere and the best,you can build bases and setup scenaries 10x faster then in 2d.:) i dont think its necassary at all pasting the task thing in the init, never had problems without it.

  19. Hm i want to use it for an Sinpleplayer Mission. Dont get what i do wrong....Heres what i do 1.Place a player in the editor 2.open real time editor 3.place objects and units 4.trying to export all stuff in a template, so i can call it if its needed in the mission But i just cant export it as template,it says "couldnt write the whole data". I also tried to just export the stuff in RTECapture and copy it into a sqf, what i call with, "player execute "template1.sqf" in my mission but nothing happens.Do i need to call it with a server in SP too??
  20. Now i got a new problem here;-( About Templates... They are for placing bases or objects and units later in the game, only if you called the SQF, to reduce lag caused of too many stuff. Do i understand the use of it right?Cause i want to pop things up only later in a mission with a sqf call. Problem is everytime i try to export things as Template[choose all] its says "COuldnt write the whole data"; and nothing is exported in RTE Capture. Help would be much appreciated,thank you!
  21. Thanks, but i allready solved it by just saving the mission again with a other name. Guess there was a problem cause i deleted one of the .bak files in the mission folder...Best Addon btw:)
  22. Hi there,i got a prretty annoying bug actually.I cant export the objects i placed.Getting a error message:" Variante des Typs "0" konnte nicht in Typ "Interger" konvertiert werden. Whats the problem?thanks !
  23. That DEFINITLY worked before the last patch. I often used this setUnitPos "Up"; middle or kneel and it WORKED. Why is it not working now anymore??? Thats really annoying.If you place enemys on more dangerous spot and make them stay there, u dont have any chance to get killed cause u cant see em....
  24. Use the RTE Editor. Its an Addon and works like the 3d Editor, u will never want to try the bugged 3d editor from BI again:)
