  1. Yeah jumping wouldn't be great but it definitely needs a new ladder-climbing animation ;-)
  2. Yeah it's goot but sometimes annoying. "oh no there's a big tank hunting me and I can't escape because I can't step/jump over this oil-pipe." Know what I mean ? ^^
  3. I got minimum ~50fps in a town like Chernogorsk for example and this little bush even takes more frames than a city, I can't explain it to me... Ok but this doesn't explain why I got 60 fps again when I stand directly in it or some meters away.. it's only on this close distance to it... So when I go some distance away there are even more trees and bushes in the screen but performance is best with 60 fps... There must happen something when I'm standing on this 2-3 feet distance to the bush/tree. Hdr ? Maybe someone able to test this, too ? Start fraps, go ingame, and slowly move towards a tree and watch the fps. Would be great to know if it's not only me having that issue.
  4. When I set me in chernogorsk with the editor I got 60 fps almost all the time, and 45 minimum. But in singleplayer when there's AI it drops to very low FPS like said before. I got 4128 points in the ArmaII-Mark.

    Evolution

I like and play Evo on Arma2 a lot. But often I find myself grindin and rushin for points. It would be great if the whole team unlocks things together not each player for himself. You are Corporal when the whole team has 300 points and so on... That would be cool =)

    patch 1.02 suggestions

-Cheating AI: Shooting through wooden fences where no one can look through, Shooting at you precise with close/middle-range weapons on very big distance. -What's very annoying is the strange animation when climbing a ladder. - I can't hear the engine of the SU-34 when flying it. Is that normal ? -When you play animals in the armory you get the aim to run through a parcour but the most animals can't get up the ramps, it's bugged. -Medic-Bug -Afterburner would be great - Better AI / better AI performance

    German 1.01 Patch is final.

The AI has to be "improved" they shoot you precise with an AK74 on 500 metres after you sniped one, that's damn unrealistic only a sniper should do this. Also the AI shoots through wooden fences where no one can look through. Everybode of our clan and on our server is complaining about "cheating AI".

Yea they really have to adjust the AI like said before. Eyes in the back are really annoying.

    ArmA2 - Performance settings

I tested some more and I always got 20-30 Fps in current campaign mission where I drive around finding that "shark"-guy. Only way to get 40-60 fps for me is to set the viewdistance to 500 and the fillrate to 50% but then the picture is that much corny that i can't see anything. So i just set everything to high, my viewdistance to 1000 and the fillrate to 100 and play at that great looking stuttering 20-30fps because it doesn't even change anything when i set everything to low or very low, maybe 5 fps more for looking ugly ^^

    ArmA2 - Performance settings

I got a bad Performance with my 3,7Ghz Quadcore and a GTX280, 4GB DDR2-Ram. When i drive around in a mission I got only ~20-30Fps. And it stutters when I turn 90°. Even with fillrate at 50%. The only way for me to get constantly ~40fps is to set the viewdistance to 500. All other graphics-option all together are only 5 maybe 10 fps difference when activated/deactivated.

    Will ArmA 2 support FreeTrack?!

Someone able to use Freetrack in Arma2 ?
  13. Cionara

    Freetrack ?

Is there a way to use Freetrack with Arma2 ? The game recognizes a TrackIR device but it's not working =(
  14. Cionara

    Freetrack ?

hm ok =/ in DCS:Black Shark was a fix for that. Then I'll have to buy a TrackIR 5 device. But not if it has shitty performance like Mike says =(
  15. Just logg in into your account there and select "Arma2-Send information" a 2nd email will be send to your account including the key.

The Arma 2 Small Bug Thread

The german installer says " Bitte wählen sie das temporäre Verzeichnis, dass während die Installation benutzt werden soll. " it has to be "[...] ,dass während der Installation benutzt werden soll." It is a nominalized verb, and you have to use "der" in this case ;-)

    Arma II Manual ?

Oh that's awesome :D thank you for the info !
  18. I think there was a bit loss but it was around 20/25fps average, like before.
  19. Yes, but didn't notice any change of performance.
  20. Yea I understand that it only uses a single core but even though my cpu is at 3,7ghz. But I'll wait for next nvidia drivers for WIn7 :D
  21. My OS is installed clean and new, and I only got neccessary processes running. I'm using Windows 7 64-Bit. I tried reducing my memory to 2048 but it didn't work. The strange thing is that it doesn't matter if I set everything to very high or verly low and deactivated. There were many X-fi and OpenAL issues as I read. Could this be the problem ? =/ Edit: There's another thing. I tried to host a server on a map (some kind of mountains with forest i think it was) and it ran 55-60fps all the time... that's strange isn't it ? In campaign i get around 20... I will test some more things out.
  22. I have the same problem. My PC: Q9550 @ 4x3,7Ghz 4GB DDR2-Ram GTX-280 OC X-Fi Xtreme Gamer I turned all options in the menu to verylow/deactivated, view distance to 500 and I get around 20fps when there's a little action going on. Is there any way to fix this ? =( Maybe it's my x-fi soundcard. Can I test this somehow ?
