  1. I think this script should be including as the ACE spectating script. I have been trying to find a way to turn off the ace spectating and use this one but have so far been unsuccessful. If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated. This script works when someone dies and spectates until the mission is over, but the ACE spectating script takes over when a new player joins and has to wait for the next mission. We play all one life missions and would very much like this spectate script to be used when a new player joins the server
  2. Is there any way to disable ACE spectate script on the server? We use a version of GDT spectate script that we prefer, but when connecting players that were not part of the mission connect, the ACE spectate script takes over.
  3. I have this problem off and on using a dlink router. Turning off and on my DMZ Host seems to fix it for some reason not sure why, but messing around with that seems to get it working again
  4. Is there a hotfix for the sound issue or do we have to wait till the island update?
  5. Thats good to hear except the new version of ACRE crashes like crazy and I cant seem to find a copy of the old version floating around anywhere:confused:
  6. Is there anyway to roll back to an earlier version of ACRE? This newer version is just not stable enough. And now that we have played Arma with it my group cant play Arma without it...we are hooked. But all this crashing has caused us not to play Arma so we need to go back to the previous version
  7. Our group recently updated to the new version of ACRE. Before the ACRE worked great but now our group of 6 has their TS3 crash at least once a mission. When it crashes the last work that was said repeats non stop at a fast pace and Operation Arrowhead stalls in and out. Is there any fix for this out there?

  10. I am trying to get this line to run in my init.sqs [] spawn { while {not isnull suv} do { "bgm" setmarkerpos getpos suv; sleep 0.5; }; }; it worked fine when my init.sqs was a sqf file. I changed it to a sqs cause the GDT spectate script I am running requires the sqs. My question is how do I get the above code to work in a sqs instead of a sqf?

    Little Problem

    I putzed around with my router and now it seems to be working. I just stopped my DMZ host which should make the game work, not not work....weird. Especially since it had been working with that enabled the entire time. I guess hosting my own server mess with something in my router and messing around in there got it working...But it is working for the time being so we will see what happens. Thanks for all the replies

    Little Problem

    I can not join any multiplayer server. As for the image sorry I didnt scale it. Most forum software these days scale the images automatically, I just assumed this one did as well(Might want to consider that vbulletin mod) As for the size of the image it is 89kb which is 11kb less then the rule states. As for a descriptive title, that is pretty much useless in a tech support forum as to get any help anyone would have to read the entire post unless my title was 10 lines long. Thanks for your help with proper posting techniques, now I just need some help with my game

Today when I go to join a Multiplayer game I can connect to the server but I can not select a position to start the game (see screenshot) I have not changed anything since yesterday when I was able to play. The only thing I did was I hosted a server this morning. And now I cant play on anybody elses server. If I host my own server I can see all the slots and everything works fine. Anybody have any ideas?

    Thanks for your continued support trying out our missions. The way we play we enjoy the one life no AI aspect of the game play. It prevents us from just rushing out to our deaths knowing we cant spawn again if we die. But we have been talking about releasing versions that would allow JIP. We go back and forth on it. On a side note we died the exact same way speeding away in our SUV while playing Big Bear. My goal is to use that same base for a day time mission just havent figured out what I want to do with it. If you have any ideas for a mission feel free to PM me or Katdog as we are always open for suggestions and we could use the inspiration of other people ;)
