See this why they need to put a button for repspawn in group for the non-geeks to be able make missions which would make the whole multyplayer much more fun then just playing the monoply maps that 3- 04 programmers made. -
Is Big foot a character like the rabbits and birds? Like is he/they on the map in editor and stuff like the rabbits? or do i have to put animal modules every every where?

I got a few quick questions. If you give a Civilian a weapon will the Military units fire at them because they have a gun if they are hostile towards the military unit? Did they put back the movie editing stuff from OFP and is it way easier to mod in the (editor) no outside programs. Example is there a list of commands and they have in manual for the none computer programer? Will you easly be able to make full scale single player compaigns, through the editor by simple clicking. Example you make 10 different maps, can you link them all togther with cut screens and stuff? can you eat the animals?

The Healing medic thing is ULTRA realistic in the Scheme of the things....The AK-74/ M16 rifles are designed to wound the enemy slowing them down and making them less combat effective, when you go to heal your comrads you are taking a medic and a rifle away from combat. Thus slwoing your unit down and you would heal or try to help your comrad if they are hurt in battle you need the manpower, it realistic. You can walk when shot in the leg, or arm or chest, war isnt a movie where one shot kills. least not with .223

Yeah I dont know what you guys read and get your information from but the M1A1's armor is classified, also they US DEPLETED UNRANIUM rounds, and the M1A1 cannon can fire missle's out of it. Depleted uranium rounds can go straight through an M1A1 and probably 3 T-72 tanks. OFP 1 had the right Idea 5 T-72 rounds agaisnt M1A1 and 4 T-80 rounds while it Took 1 M1A1 round to disable a T-72/ 2 to destroy and it took 4 to distroy T-80 Russian tanks are cheap tanks not designed to fight toe to toe agaisnt Heavy tanks. They were designed to be built in mass numbers to overwhelm the bigger tanks, same concept as the American sherman against Tigers. 15 shermans to one tiger.

He wants to know how to become more aware if his surroundings. 1. Play paintball (nothing is closer to actual combat for civilians) 2. Play Swat3 or Rainbow six 3. Just be obversant( in real life) and look for human shapes in and cover 4. The enemy will rarely be in the open so if your shot at, take cover and look in the directions where they can be shooting you from. IF you dont have awarness at this stage in your gaming lifing then you'll probably never do better then an average gamer.

I just wanted to say an Expert maksman....strach that the best shooter in the world would have the most diffcult time hitting a man at 375 yards with An Ak-47, the gun is grossly inaccurate seeing how all the parts are loose. Second why in the hell would you hide behind a bush when you fired at the enemy and they have an open shot at you??????? 3rd. No the AI needs to be better and dont lie to me and say they are too accurate, no such thing unless with AK-47 or pistol. Not Ak-74 which is much more accurate. 4th.......375 yards is not far away and you can easly be seen, maybe not in COD 4, but in real life and espicaly in this game. 5th you cant find the enemy because they dont have tracers in there rifles....run away, at 375 yards you have a chance. One more thing about the bush, just because you dont see them doesnt mean they cant see you................. 6th The game looks sweets.

Multiplayer in Arma 2 - Is Warping (Lag) and Cheats still an issue?

They let you mod the hell out of a game, thats all cheating is modding or glitching any one can rig the game to there advantage. They should make it like Americas army wher ethey have the Offical rorginal games and then the cheat/no anit cheat games. -
I dont know if its on your blog but what state do you live ?, theres another Jay and the BLOG of doom, sorry that live in Canada, but looking at the Guns you have and the tree's and the sunlight , I'd say you live on the west probably in a Liberal state Mass or Newyork, maybe Vermont.

Well OFP and Arma1 alittle bit really hide the muzzle break in Daylight and at night time you'll always see a flash, even with a suppressor but that would be really low. OFP and Arma and this one as seen in the video do a really good job of keeping muzzel flash realistic. I hope you can choose to use tracers or not in assult rifles in Arma2 or Machine guns, I like OFP1 where there were no tracers. Resistence add'd it in becuase I think people complained i dont "where are they shooting me from...Arggh"

Oh I am positive he doesnt. :) Even though I have not Played VB2 or VB1 I am pretty sure they have realistic damage model's over distance and such. I mean the US army has it programed in their laser vest when they do full scale mock battles, a M16 is registered difference then then an Ak-47 or tank round and T-72 vs M1A1 and such. Those units are low on the tech lvl, in process'ing and such. But to tell the truth I do not remember OFP1 or ARMA1 saying they had realistic ballistics, as a selling point, but ARMA2 does, so I am take their word for it. "Inconsistency and hyperbole much?" (maddogx) In response to MaddogX I said they have bullet drop. I didnt say thy have realistic ballistics. Then you say you dont think they'll ever make a true to life as possible simulator. Not very positive thinking there. I know what you mean by crazy expectations the only crazy one is being able to literally move in a tank like its the enviroment, but the others such as Windage and true Damage system, is not crazy is availabe and has been avaible for quite some time. One more thing no rag doll effect?

^ People that don't know anything about firearms in real life asking for games to mimic their vision of reality = FAIL. You dont own an AK-47 or 9mm. Where you live bring the camera.
