Just e-mailed amazon.co.uk to ask them about my pre-order as it still says delivery for the 26th... they should be getting back to me soon, if they are not changing the delivery date looks like im getting it somewhere else.. and ubascouser, birkenhead, thats close to me :D

every game will atleast have some cheats and hacks, im surprised punkbuster is managing to keep track of all the hacks these days, and as more and more people like to ruin other poeples gameplay i hope BIS have thought about this, as my unhappy face isnt something they want to see ;) and spellcast, if you do make a clan, im joining, i used to have a BF2 and COD4 clan called =BFW= (britains finest warriors), we had a few members but in the end i just wasnt getting enough donations as i live with the missus and she requires money for handbags and shoes XD

i pre-ordered mine from amazon.co.uk for a lovely £25 saying me about £15, i have seen some shops advertising it for £50 but i would even pay that for the game, military sim games are just my thing :D

might have something to do with it XD, splitscreen games are for people who like to have there friends round eating your friend and staring at your mum XD

imo even if ARMA2 is released with bugs, i wont mind as BIS will always update the game and iron the bugs out, every game has flaws, there is no "perfect" game look at IL2 / BF2 / COD4 & COD5 they keep on getting patches But i can honestly say that i will be playing ARMA2 bugged or not, especially the multiplayer side of it, where i can actually get enjoyment through playing as a team with other "live" people

i have an 8800gtx OC :D and 8GB ram and a 9600 phenom quad core, and i havent played crysis, ive seen it but it doesnt look as good as ARMA2 does, and when i get the game im going to spend my first few hours tweaking the graphics settings until i can get something that runs stable without any lag/jumping

46 days to go! what it says on the game website anyway :D im not going to pre-order it from them, as they cocked up my last pre-order of world in conflict, so its either amazon or staying up after i finish at 6am and dragging myself to the nearest games shop for 9am

i dont work friday or saturday nights :D although the other half needs some attention once in a while... then i might get a forfeit of doing the dishes... :(

chrismvts, i have ARMA but it also doesnt work on my vista 64bit machine, maybe its because i have 8GB ram but im just waiting for ARMA2 to be released, and as you said, mature players, project reality at .5 had its mix of players but since it has now become more realistic the mature players are the majority, which is what ARMA2 will be like, realism and tactics, not some teenagers shooting everything wolfenstein style...

first thing im going to do is drool... then wipe the drool off my shirt, and start "experimenting" with the mission editor, and if im not working that night might even get on multiplayer if anyone else is on it.

i bought the first armed assult, but i upgraded my machine to vista 64bit with 8GB ram so it wouldnt play ARMA anymore. im just waiting for ARMA2, tried to book a week off after release date but some git at work has already got it off :(
