same here! i find this OA campaign way too short and not even all the vehicles were used! what the hell there are the UN and CZ army vehicles for then??

im in the second "open mission" in campaign, now that the night came, none of my mates and neither me has a pair of NVgoggles, and it is nearly impossible to do anything without them the buy weapons menu won't even offer to buy one! so where i can get them??? now this is just f*cking annoying and retarded... at least if there was a "sleep" function, i could set my doods to sleep and wait till the sun rises 10x

Does anyone remember seeing a dog in one of those arma 2 video teasers? Can anyone tell me, where is it in the final released game? :j:

all i can say is that a huge amount of time has been spent into rendering the cosmetic aspect of the game (because of its selling factor) which has been made over the OLD operation flashpoint game engine, which explains why it is so clanky to run even on today's "muscle" pc configuration. (ie +4ghz cpu, 4gb of ram and GTX295 gfx card) im a big fan of the series, since the earliest Operation Flashpoint game. After playing Arma2, i have noticed a VERY LITTLE true in game-features improvement, besides of the new models, terrain and new character animation (one more time, because they look "beautiful" -which is just a selling factor) nearly no truly "new" or interesting game interaction content -feature wise has been really created or improved. after so many years! after soo many of years, since the earliest version of operation flashpoint, very little new things has been created ... arma2 for me is just a re badged old operation flashpoint engine with some cosmetic content, the first game's finish was shameful! (read across the game reviews/ critics) now i see, that 80% of "development" has been put into the pure cosmetical aspect.. shame on you BIS

lol i hear ya i was VERY LUCKY to find somewhere an enemy officer, killed him and took his NV's, FINALLY! DOH this shows clearly that the campaign has NOT BEEN TESTED for bugs.. and BIS dudes were smokin such bad weeds when creating it :D i think this thread can be turned into official bug repport: "DOGS OF WAR" - NightVision Goggles *BUG* also, night vision goggels and binoculars SHOULD BE ADDED to the "buy" menu inventory as items you can buy i hope someone from BIS reads this and think to do a fix once again, this is PLAINLY and FULLY RETARDED, because ALL OTHER ENEMY AI has NV goggles !!! but, now i have to find 3 more others NV's for my other 3 guys.....

yeah im there too! this is retarded... that's what i have figured out as the only way to get nv's DOH for the moment i have found no dead enemy officer and i presume im gonna have some hard time finding/killing one :butbut:

same here, i got a GTX295 and installed 190.38 i have a very average to poor performance (running the game at 1680x1050 all settings are normal/high) that is on a E8600 oc'ed to 'just' 3.8ghz.... Win XP SP3 i dont know wtfs wrong with this game, compared to other bigfat 3d games such as GTAIV and Fallout3 which just runs smoothly.... looks like ARMAII had a shameful finish,, we are in 2009 and seeing this is very disappointing

ARMA2 is no longer listed on D2d! this happens just when i wanted to buy it!!!! WTF?!... lol

why the game won't be distributed in direct download? (steam or direct2drive) ????
