You should check out the 15th MEU recruiting servers. I'm not any way affiliated with them but i played on their servers with ARMA and continued doing now with ARMA 2. They are always trying to make it more realistic and are a great help. Just don't try to learn to fly on the servers lol.

I am more worried about having the pilots with the ability to hover above an urban area so as too fast rope in.

Myself being in a Stryker Brigade and being in a clan the routinely used strykers in Arma would like to see them comeback ala US Army Rangers to go with the Spec Ops theme. Yes the rangers, more specifically 2nd Battalion now have Strykers.

in reference with talking inside of vehicles. BI could always go with realism and simulate the occupants wearing noise canceling headphones like we have been doing for a number of years now in the Army. Most, if not all military vehicles that go outside the wire have a vehicle intercom system. you can hear everyone in the vehicle and the radio is a push to talk switch. too easy to simulate that

There are an many missions and many different ways to go about a mission. The hardest part of doing this in real life is the boredom of waiting for something to happen. One mission i would like to see is route clearance. If the enemy has ied's and you dont clear the route, it could compromise your entire mission. Especially if the enemy conducts a complex ambush using one or more ied's and then attacking with machine guns and rpg's. You would be surprised on how many resources an attack like this affects.

actually most addon armor options are installed and uninstalled upon entry and exit from theater operations. that is why you rarely see any cages on strykers back in the states and you will not see any reactive armor on stateside vehicles. the only thing they might retain is the a/c. This is done because it is extremely cost efficient and the vehicle weight for combat opertaions is outrageously high.
