You either like the game or you dont.

Well said, indeed. I'm a fan of Operation Flashpoint too, and it's one of the best games me and my friends have played together. Even though Arma II has its own little bugs, it looks very promising and we've managed to waste hours just by messing around with the weapons and vehicles - not to mention smaller co-op missions we've made. It's far from a disappointment! -
Will my PC Run this? What CPU/GPU to get? What settings? System Specifications.

Hmm, you've got a good system, judging by your CPU and GPU. However, if you're going to upgrade your CPU, you also have to replace your motherboard and RAM, just like No Use For A Name said. A Q9300 should be enough for Arma II! If you're serious about upgrading, I'd go for the GPU. You didn't mention how much RAM you have, though... -
You wanted it. You got it. Now quit your whining.

Well said, BeerHunter. I can't do anything else than agree with your words. -
Ah, the classic Ambush. :P In my opinion it's a rather dodgy mission; sometimes your squad gets slaughtered, but sometimes you're able to complete the mission without any significant problems (especially in Cadet mode). Try to move with your squad members (long live AI!), be accurate when shooting and if possible, obtain a RPG launcher from a fallen hostile soldier. It'll come in handy later when you're moving towards the town (based on my personal experience). If most of your squad is still alive after capturing the little farm west of the town, you have good chances to complete the mission. However, if most of your buddies are down, you're going to need a lot of luck - the town is full of hostiles as you surely know, and the situation gets worse later... Good luck with OPF! :)

So far just messing with the editor and slowly progressing with the campaign. I've tried multiplayer with a bunch of friends too, but unfortunately enough we ran out of small Co-op missions in two hours. Thankfully the editor is familiar to anyone who has played OPF or ArmA. I love messing around and testing stuff alongside creating small missions. Infantry combat seems to be quite good (except for genius AI at some cases). Haven't bothered with tank combat yet, but I guess I'll try that in a couple of days. And no, I can't even imagine myself piloting a chopper - that would be a disaster.
