Hi for me having a SW mod would be amazing but i understand you completely if you dont have enough time to continue with the mod. The real life is the first for all of us!!!! In my opinion all you can do is make it public, allow others to finish it, giving you the credit. Thanks for all those videos and pics! I will be waiting for a mod of SW, who knows maybe it will come with arma 3? jejjee Regards from spain!!! -

SPANISH INFORMACIÓN DE LA MISION - BRIEFING Hemos llegado a la zona, despues de una dura conquista del aeropuerto, hemos agotado todas las municiones y recursos, esperamos mas refuerzos, pero no se si llegaran a tiempo. Debemos buscar el armamento Takistani y el emplazamiento de los ultimos tanques takistanies antes de que lancen la ofensiva contra el aeropuerto que inteligencia informa que esta previsto ESTA NOCHE, sino, abra que proteger el aeropuerto. Necesitaremos más armas para asestar un buen golpe a esos tanques. Cerca del armamento se encuentran los planos para encontrar el emplazamiento de los tanques. Se han visto tropas Rusas que podrian reforzar a las tropas takistanies. We have just arrived to the zone, it was a hard fight in the airport, there are no ammo or resources, we are waiting for reinforcements, but will them arrive at time? We have to look for the takistani´s weapons and the location of the tanks, after they send the las ofensive to our airport, inteligence has informed us it may happen tonight, we must protect the airport! We will need more weapons to hit a good strike to those tanks. Close to the ammo are some planes to find the place where the tanks are camped. sorry maybe i have infravaloured your work!!! thats not my intention, last time i tryed RKSL countermesures, it didnt work for me, the system only worked for the A10, the others planes didn´t launch them. I dont know why. I used RSLK system with other mods at same time. And of course with CBA and the required RSLK modules. I only want a chance of evade from missiles, to me and to the IA. In my clan we play coop missions. Trying to play as realistic as we can and the game allows. allways trying to get fun of course. I´ve edited the first post because it was not what i wanted to say. Sorry for my bad english. I was only searching for a easy countermeasures addon nothing more. i respect your great work on RKSL. Your scripts and addons are amazing. Regards!! -

Hola mandoble, enhorabuena por tu magnifico mod!! Soy lucifer del clan Armados español, me gustarÃa saber si tu addon es perfectamente compatible en MP en un servidor dedicado. Tengo una misión para jugar con los compañeros del clan en la que hay mucho combate de aeronaves. Siento intriga por saber si funcionaria tu addon perfectamente con 20-30 jugadores en un servidor dedicado. Con las cosas que has implementado añadirÃa mucha emoción a la pobre experiencia que aporta el arma 2 en combate de aeronaves. Pero tengo esa duda porque como somos muchos jugadores lo ideal es que los addons que ponemos no den muchos problemas. Yo ya probé tu addon en el arma 1 y era una pasada, he propuesto a los compañeros de nuestra comisión de addons testearlo. Cualquier información seria muy bien recibida. Amazing addon!!! We use this addon in our clan and the planes are fantastic. A question, would it be possible to have the flaresystem of the f16 to all of BIS planes and helicopters? I tryed to launch the scripts of the plane via init in a unit putting this: nul=[this] execVM "\glt_f16\scr\init_plane.sqf"; this addEventHandler ["incomingMissile", {this execVM "\glt_f16\scr\countermeasure.sqf"}]; this addEventHandler ["killed", { this execVM "\glt_f16\scr\wrecker.sqf"}]; butt only the vapor trails seem to work propperly, the countermesures are active, but there´s no sound or flares launched, still missiles missed sometimes. graphics bugs with ATI 4800 series (4850/4870/4890)

Thats your opinion, I had a 4890 1Gb and I run the game all in very high, same FPS than later when i had a Nvidia 9600GT 512 with all very low. So this graphic card is very good. Only i need to change my procesor to have nice FPS with all graphic options on very high. Dont generalize about performance if ypu have a problem, i have no problems with this card. PD: execept AA an some in high. -

Very good!! is amazing have civilians so we can put some ambient to our missions. I hate jar jar too, i liked so much the inteligent humor of R2 and c3po and their dialogues in the first trilogy. I think the dialogues were much better in the first films than in the last ones. A pair of questions McRuppert: I´ve seen many models of SW in ofp, there will be some of them adapt to ama 2, or you´re doing all the models yourself, in any case very good job!!! Are you planing to release some starships? as A-wing, tie fighters or milenium falcon? For me most waited mod, more than ace 2... XD:yay: -

Maybe only putting a photo of his face on the head would be enought. A suggestion: The body of greedo could be used to make some civilians for ambientation, changin the face and the color of textures. Good job!!! -

yes, so I understand that you cannot sell the models or take any profit, and you have to thank the people who do it (the models). But you can use it to mod i think, also you have to credit the people who did the models. Its logical those models are from people who did them, so you can use them but no steal it. -

I have downloaded the bis editing tools to try to do something... XD just for fun, what will be easier a soldier or a vehicle?? Its easy to convert 3d max models to bis?? I found some models in this page: http://www.scifi3d.com/list.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=4 I have to ask if i can use them. it would be a good start, but i have to learn everything from the begining, at the moment im watching the tutorial videos of gnat to see if I learn something!!! -

Hi Ruperttle keep pushing in your mod its just great to gave star wars units in the arma engine. In my opinion would be just great to have in a first release: Rebels: some infantry, you´ve done now some models are great!! i like the pilot so much. Light vehicles: maybe a speeder bike, and a light tank, could be a Landspeeder. air vehicles: just some starships for providing air support; x-wing, y-wing and maybe a carrier or a shuttle. Empire: some infantry, you´ve done the imperials so well!!! very good models. Light vehicles: speederbike, AT-ST (if not possible) in first release a landspeeder retexturized to be imperial. Air vehicles: tie-fighter and a tie bomber. Both sides: turrets: laser e-web, light laser turret, heavy laser turret and maybe AA turret. weapons: blaster basic, carabine blaster, snipper blaster, pistol blaster, AT rocket launcher, maybe a AA rocket launcher. thermal detonator (satchel charge), maybe some mines AT (just retexturizing). structures: command center, barracks, light factory, some walls, the crates (you have it done yet i´ve seen they´re great!!). Ambient: some civilians (maybe of some races of SW) not much but just for ambient. Some buidings, maybe the ones of tatooine (we can populate a desert island with them to make cities). Well those are my suggestions wishes!!! keep on this mod its just great!!! I like so much your models, it would be a dream to have a release with some basics to make missions!! thank you so much and regards from spain!!!!!:bounce3: -
Hi all of you arma/ofp fans, here is a little campaign i´ve made, the entire campaign is in spanish. The missions are quite simple and perfect to play in a clan with your mates. Well balanced and realistic. The missions are for 16 to 30 players, in many roles, as SF teams, assault, support pilots... I´m not going to translate it to english because the english speackers have a lot of missions to play!!! At the moment the campaign has 6 missions, in the future there will be more than 10 missions. So good luck and get fun with them!!! Os posteo una campaña para MP completamente en español, consta de 6 missiones de momento, en un futuro espero poder tener mas de 10 hechas. Son todas cooperativas multijugador de entre 16-30 jugadores. El nivel de dificultad varia segun la mision. Pero la campaña es realista y bastante balanceada. CAMPAÑA CHERNARUS EN LLAMAS.. El jueves 25 de junio de 2009 estallo una guerra civil en el sur de la republica checa, una region llamada Chernarus de mas de 225 km2 entro en un estado de guerra civil completa. Los insurgentes separatistas se oponian al gobierno, que habia decidido aplicar politicas mas abiertas para intentar ocidentalizar el pais. Los atentados no tardaron en llegar, despues llegaron disturbios en algunas ciudades y finalmente la revolucion. Algunas ciudades del sur de la region han caido en manos separatistas, mientras el gobierno lucha por mantener el control de la segunda ciudad mas importante y el centro del pais. La OTAN ha mandado un limitado contingente a la zona para tratar de ayudar a reestablecer el orden del pais, pero la resistencia de los separatistas es fuerte pues cuentan con material muy moderno de origen ruso. No se explica esa capacidad de respuesta y potencial de un grupo armado reducido. Rusia se adelanto asegurando que no tiene nada que ver con la revolucion. MISIONES.. 0. ATAQUE SORPRESA (Coop13) BRIEFING: ATAQUE SORPRESA: El alto mando ha organizado una invasion en la costa Sur de la isla de Utes. Su destacamento anfibio entrara por el sur. Buscara y eliminara elementos hostiles que se encuentren en la isla. Su principal objetivo sera la ciudad Norte de Kanemyy. Para finalizar la mision acuda al portaciones aliado al SurOeste. Informe de inteligencia: Hemos detectado dos unidades blindadas antiaereas que protegen la zona, son del tipo Shilka. Inteligencia ha detectado actividad en dos bases cercanas a la ciudad de Kanemyy, proceda con cautela por esa zona. El enemigo no espera una operacion militar en la zona asi que contamos con esa ventaja, suponemos que muchas de las defensas enemigas estaran desocupadas. Informe de situacion: Tras recibir una peticion de ayuda a la OTAN por parte de la republica de Chernarus, el alto mando ha enviado un contingente para ayudar a mantener la estabilidad del pais ante una eventual revuelta insurgente y la amenaza de una guerra civil. Nuestro ejercito ha mandado al lugar un portaviones y varios barcos de combate, pero es necesario eliminar las defensas antiaereas de la isla de Utes si queremos proceder a una ocupacion de la zona sur de Chernarus. Tomando la isla de Utes se abre una brecha hacia el norte y podremos ayudar a la region a mantener la estabilidad. Segun inteligencia la ciudad de Kanemyy es el foco de la rebelion en la isla de Utes, asi que tomar esa ciudad sera nuestro principal objetivo. Objetivos: 1.- Buscara y eliminara elementos hostiles que se encuentren en la isla. Su principal objetivo sera la ciudad Norte de Kanemyy. 2.- Para finalizar la mision acuda al portaciones aliado al SurOeste. 1. INVASION KAMENKA (Coop30) BRIEFING: INVASION KAMENKA: Tras eliminar las defensas antiaereas enemigas en Utes el alto mando planea dirigirnos a la zona Sur-Oeste del pais. Necesitamos destruir varias baterias que vigilan las playas al Sur. Segun inteligencia un comboy de municiones y suministros de los insurgentes traza una ruta desde Komarovo hasta Chernogorsk. Informe de inteligencia 2: El enemigo cuenta con apoyo aereo y posiblemente acudan refuerzos a ayudar en la defensa de la ciudad una vez comencemos el ataque, use los Huey y harrier para contrarrestar al enemigo Informe de apoyo: Contamos con 2 cazas tipo harrier en el portaviones para servir de apoyo, sea precavido con el uso de bombaz en la zona pues sabemos que hay civiles que no han podido huir de la ciudad. El siguiente paso de nuestra invasion es tomar un importante aerodromo ocupado por fuerzas hostiles. Desde este aerodromo el alto mando ha diseñado un plan de conquista total de la capital Chernogorsk, no podemos fallar en esta mision. Contamos con 2 equipos de fuerzas especiales y otros dos de asalto, El ataque se iniciara desde el portaaviones con el apoyo de Harriers y aviones F35, tambien disponemos de helicopteros de ataque Cobra y Venom. Con el apoyo de la fuerza aerea acabaremos con la fuerza enemiga. INSERCION: Comenzaremos en el portaviones al S de la costa. El siguiente paso es tomar Chernogorsk, la capital del pais. Por lo que sabemos los insurgentes ploquean el paso SO con un gran contingente atrincherado. Han combinado vehiculos blindados, barricadas y defensas estaticas. Debido a problemas logisticos no hemos recibido vehiculos de artilleria, pero afortunadamente si tenemos el apoyo de tanques M1 abrams. LOGISTICA: Disponemos de 3 grupos, 2 de asalto y uno de FE, asalto ha sido equipado con 3 M1 abrams para abrir las defensas del enemigo, el equipo de sabotaje debera cortar los refuerzos del enemigo con cargas y minas. INSERCION: Comenzaremos en el aerodromo de Balota al O de la ciudad. OBJETIVOS: 1-ANULAR LOS REFUERZOS DEL ENEMIGO, destrullendo sus blindados de apoyo. 2- LIMPIAR LA ZONA SO DE CHERNOGORSK DE PRESENCIA ENEMIGA. ACUDIR AL PUNTO DE CONQUISTA PARA ACABAR LA MISION. This are good news... Its allways good to see that BIS is hearing the comunity, But... Why dont you bis released the game 2 or 3 months later with a good beta testing, and not so many bugs?? The other problem of this game is performance... nothing new to say about it... since arma Bis games had a bad performance always, for me arma 1 with pach 1.16 was a lot better... But it came 2 years after its release. When I got a better pc more powerfull. So I suggest you that push on a realy good patch that increase the performance realy much more. Think that ofp 2: DR is comming and it would be another option to play tacticals shooters. If you make big mistakes and the other game is a good option you will lose many players. First time i played arma 2 it had errors in the missions you released with it, not small errors, NO, great bugs and errors in basic scripting that made them unplayable. And those errors It taked to me 5 minutes in see it. So what were you thinking??? This past years you where the only option, but now you have to keep working a lot more to stay in the wave. I wish you find the way to fix all these performance issues and bugs. I´ve been playing arma/ arma 2 some years getting fun with all the good thigs you offered us (open world, realism, editor, good MP coops). But is time for regeneration or maybe dying. hi hamis; The campaign was made to play in multiplayer, but you can try to pass missions playing your own the most of them are easy. The 5th mission for example has the high command scripts so you can command all the squads and pass the missions alone. The campaign was made to play 15-30 players, so the missions are simple with not much scripts and 1 or 2 objectives. regards from spain and get fun with it!! -

I can play the game on 1280x1024 all on low very low dv 1100m at 20-35 fps my specs amd 64 x2 2ghz 4gb ram ddr2 nvidia 9600GT 512 mb vista 64 the game is playable it do not look well but its playable. So maybe its something wrong with your harware or you´re not setting the correct settings. regards -

The game is not well optimized, with that hardware you will get more than 35 fps in any city or forest if ypu put only your character in the editor, with losses of frame rate to 20+ some times. But the problem will be playing the campaign and when you put some squads in a mission and start to combat. You will get only -20 fps. My specs: AMD x2 2,01 Ghz Gforce 9600 GT 512 mb 4 gb ram (800) vista 64 maybe you get some fps more but nothing extraordinary, the game is a CPu killer when the IA becomes active, that is a fact. As you i´ve been testing the game in my pc, and i have the same problems. My GPU its not the best 9600GT 512, but the problem with fps are only when the IA begins to be active. i do a test in the editor. First in a zone empty i get near 40+ fps depending zone (cities kill my fps i dont know why...). Second i put two enemy squads one in fornt to the other and as they begun to shot the fps get down under 20... Then as you I,ve made the same experiment, changin the Graphic configuration... even to a very low spec 50% filrate and 640x480... and the fps stay at the same values -20... So the problem is clearly the optimisation of the game with the cpu, maybe the GPU limites some options, but the most important is CPU power. When a soldier does cover fire with a Mg the frames are -10 less..., so i think this game must be patched or some scripts eliminated or tweeked. I´ve been playing arma many time and i think arma 2 has the same problems with optimisation. Maybe in version 1.05 or more wi wil play this game decently. I´m not going to change my pc at the moment because a lot of people with intel i7 and very good GPus(GTX280...) have the same problem... so clearly is a problem of the game. i will wait for a bether optimisation to see what sistem to buy to handle with this game. My first impressions of performance with this game are as they where with gothic 3... unplayable... so i hope the patching would be the solution. My pc: AMDx2 3800+ 2 Ghz 4 Gb ram nvidia 9600 GT 512
