Im really not usually the pedantic type - but for some reason this bothered me :). The delay in dust reaction must be the same for opponent AI to 'realise' that theyv'e been hit. There is a discernable delay sometimes from 'hit' to death animation.

I thought the HMMVE was bullet resistant to rifle rounds, as for the tyres, a few shots and their flat, no run flats. There does not appear to be a troop carrying varient. Can fit 7 troops into the light OPFOR 4*4 (forgot name).

I think the speed of rounds are too slow, fire the default rifle - M4 I believe, at a target 500 m away, takes just over a second to reach, or at least for dust to appear. With 850 m/s round speed, this shouldnt be the case. Is the round speed in a config somewhere ?

Il have to wait for addons. Anyone know when they will be available ?, ones that drag and drop straight into addons without mucking around with making them compatible .

'mature' gamer - no, with a rant like that that cherry picks the faults and ignores the many positives - your anything but. Have you tried the editor ?, the combat module, or did you just take your 'friends' word for it. Patches will solve all issues eventually.

To be fair it seems they have according to Inkompetant - at least for different weapons - not individual varients though.

FPS on Multiplayer is apparantly quite slow, try it in normal game should give better boost. I have a stock I7 with a GTS250 - and 4 GB RAM, and get 30-40. You have a much better card so should be getting better rates....someone whos more knowledgeable should be able to help you.

Well I found aiming very difficult at 300m with the default weapon - M4 or M16 with the red dot sight - and found that when prone, carefully aiming for the head allows me to hit centre mass. So there is drop even only after 300m. Aiming for centremass , I always miss...course, the dot may not be exactly where it should be (modelling wise).

i was in the RAF cadets, kicked out for not marching ;) fired a .22 several times, apparantly had 1 inch grouping at 25 yards...80 year old rifle they told me ! .

Speaking of the OFP flight model, any chance the mouse controls - which I fly the aircraft with as opposed to the keyboard - can be used so that I drag the mouse back to raise the nose of the plane ?, in other words, oposite to default.

I just cannot get the ACM module to work, I havent tweaked the config, nor know how to, would be nice to be in a insta war. Set things up just like the pics show.

After a while, a round will just fall at a progressively steeper angle. Nm, its good enough.
