Ok, my point is this. During a Civil war, the military typically does faction, and by saying that a military works in peacetime, you don't show me shit. The only way a military is proven is in battle, not by what kind of parade they can put on. Calling what I say a "load of crap" also clearly demonstrates why one is not able to be a moderator, as they are biased. Logistics would be a huge nightmare, and finding a common ground on some issure would be a serious problem. -Crew

C'mon, hizzo, give up dat shizzo. -Crew -
Is the russian tanker helmet more comfortable than the American one? The american one seems bulkier, but probably protects better against shrapnel and hard jolts. -Crew

To me, the answer is simple. No. If you unite a military, you will find that the nationalities will tend to be distrustful of each other, and the chain of command would be a nightmare. The only reason the allied alliance worked during WW2 is due to one sole purpose- to destroy the imperial Japanese and Nazi Germany regimes. Without a goal or purpose in mind, unifying to create a gigantic military would be stupid. And, if war does break out, you will face a situation like in all civil wars. The military will divide, and ultimately will have dire consequences for whoever chooses the losing side. (not that a usual war doesn't, but repercussions could be unfair.) Eizei, I dunno what your general problem is with the us, but you have got to open your closed mind. -Crew

Ok, bear with me. I thought (to add realism) a few basic things could be made. Army foodsevice trucks + tents Army Radio Tents Other misc Army (and possibly other services) tents and vehicles that are for administrative purposes. Kinda dumb idea, but worth a shot. If you want me to elaborate, post it! -Crew

North korea threat poll
crewcutkid reincarnated! replied to crewcutkid reincarnated!'s topic in OFFTOPIC
Good stuff so far, folks! Keep up the good replies! (Thrusts arms in air in triumph) I could get an A for this poll alone! J/K I'll keep this poll open another week or two, sound good? -Crew -
This poll is for my independent study for High School, and involves the Joint Chiefs of Staff's response to a probable threat from N. Korea. Involved in the response process is the United Nations respons to such a threat. I am seeking to gain an international perspective on this, and would greatly appreciate all responses. Please keep in mind that all posts, poll results, and personal messages, etc. can be used in my report, so please be mature with your responses. The scenario involves a general buildup of North Korean Forces along the border, and the construction of several new small airfields, hardened bunkers, and naval facilities. Sources say border clashes between N. Korean civilians and US and UN troops have been escalating. NKPA artillery units have been moving into positions in the mountains north of the DMZ. If you need more info, PM me and I'll do my best to respond in a timely and organized fashion. Thanks a heap! -Crew

Has anyone made a Sheridan tank? I'm looking for one for vietnam missions. Also, an "Ontos" vehicle or mule would be great. Wish i knew how to upload pictures. Oh, well. -Crew
