Hey Q, Script so that evertime a players presses I it will come up a Black screen., Ofcouse they would change the Show score key but it shoudl work for the newbies -
Ok thanks man, i got it to work now, It was the regedit line that was wrong! ty One more thing, i read the readme pdf and i dont get it. Which server should i report too? Dont i need to know that the server im playing on have this thing aswell? or? u might have to write The Newbie To Cain

It’s like AvonLad once said, So many great addons but so few missions. And today its no people to play them. If I were an addonmaker or a mission maker, whats the point putting down 40hours work on a Map or a Addon if only 2-3 people will ever use it. If people with help from the community got these sweet maps and addons, they request of better missions would increase. In the long run we would have more mission makers, more active players and higher quality on the maps. Competition is the key to technology, but with no Competition or no knowledge of each other this can’t be accomplished. I want ArAs to have 5 Keygetys and 50 mods with the quality of the addons BAS made. The part where this community have failed the most is the gaming part. Clans, leagues and professional gaming are what is dominated in other games. In OFP it’s a shame being a CTF player. And maybe it’s true because most CTF players are Corner Camping ten year olds who play the same desert/buildings maps day out day in. Only 10% of the total clan players have dedicated their time to CTI, C&H and other more OFP style maps. If I knew this would happen 3 years ago I would start my own league and make it right from the beginning. And that’s why I am saying this now, 1 year in advance. We need to get more coop nights, more active clans, more mission and mod makers to release more stuff. And someone needs to combine all these stuff to let everyone know what’s going on in this game. There could be so much more instead of 500 OFP servers to 250 players. Events like OFP Ryder Cup is things that made it fun playing OFP! West meets East, how much better can it get. Big 20vs20 BF1985 maps on FDF Mod or BAS weapons. //Cain

I just that I think that OFP was ment for something more than some "shoebox" maps with G36s and 2s respawn. Dont get me wrong, many people (most on this forum) have done alot for this game. But there is a reason why we only have 400-500 people playing OFP everynight and thats something we need to prevent from happening in the comming games And yes, Cheaters too but this game were pretty "outplayed" when that shit really started so it really hasnt so much to do with it. //Cain

Im woundering if its possible to make an addon which will be similare to a huge shield. It should like a big window, which u can see and run through, but if someone tries to shoot through it the bullets will hit the "invisible shield" and stop. This is basicly to help out CTF and C&H makers where they can put this object around the Safe zone. It would prevent spawn raping and reduce the lag. So a huge window that stop bullets but allowes players/tanks to travel through. Possible? not possible? Does someone have alot of free time who want to help out? Thanks Cain

sweet, i tried them and they work very good Very nice with the roof. Only prob that it gives a unrealistic feeling when playing with a huge Red shield on a CTF . For chirs and offtime, i manage to make the thingy twice its witdh and wasnt as hard as I though. Many thanks.! if you ever need help with someone let me know cheers

It works perfect! Just like i wanted it! But I have no tiny request Could you increase the width on it? Around 400meters wide and keep the same hight and deepth on it. Cheers! //Cain

Victor, do the same test, but pick Malden and spread the ais out over the whole Island. Use viewdistance 1000. I think you will easily get 10 or more FPS. I rather play a mission with 10.000 soldiers on the same island than having 200 on the same screen. -

It would be Hong Kong x 100 But cant OFP:R handle alot of ais at the same time? Aslong they aint near you. I once placed 60 East and 60 West guys on a 100m2 area. It lagged like hell and took 3min to start. I did the same thing again when i was 9000m away. Wasnt that laggy. So in single player i only recive info that is near me. Dunno if it works the same way in OFP. I always wanted to play 40vs40 over whole everon. No tanks nor choppers, just infantry and some ammo/mortars at the areas you capture. It would so be real!. -

Im making a map where I want 1000 points for killing a soldier and 10000 for killing a tank. (MP) But when i upload it to a dedicated. I only recive the 1000 points for the soldier i killed. It wont give me any points for the tank getting killed. (tank=bmp in this case) I have a game logic named Server. I tried to use this command on the tank. But it stop working both on dedi server and mine. this addeventhandler ["Hit",{server call{[_this select 1] exec "Hit3.sqs"}}] Plz help me Cain

855.255m kill with a G36 in single player. Run forward, stop, aim and fire. Too bad most of that was all luck , came pretty close 2 more times of the 20 i tried.

Oh? I see. Well, i have never seen as "mighty" scenes as when the one those bomber planes flying close to eachother, or when the camera is set in the hummer following the tank that gets blown up. The feeling points at realism and well made, almost like if there was a real movie. Its not about if there was 50 Explosions, it was 50 explosions that could have been in the upcomming bond movie. Sure, maybe it wasnt a movie where russia killed 500 americans and conquered the world. But it had some very good scenes, maybe not all of em but some.
