BIS did nothing to instigate or fuel the idea that the game users would benefit from this. Ever since that website was discovered we had nothing but pictures, rumours and f**king whiners. Ever thought about what would happen if the whole OFP / VBS scene was reversed? *daydream wavy screen effect* Imagine if the Marines already used VBS and then one day BIS said " how about releasing a scaled down version for the public, not so many units and some features missing because after all; it has to work on a desktop setup." The gamers reaction - " Wow look at this website for a game called OFP ! It's like what the Marines use - scaled down a bit, but that's to be expected. I would love to be able to play a game that's been modelled on what the real forces use for training. How fortunate a company like BIS is going to make this dream come true ! " *End of daydream* How about YOU designing a near realistic war sim / game and then trying to keep the user base constanly happy? Don't you think that they want to expand and try new projects? Be grateful for what you recieve and are about to recieve in the future. f**kwit

I wish people would read the accompying text as well looking at the nice shiny pretty pictures on the VBS site We probably will get 'some' of the vehicles the future. I don't think that majority of vehicles are " confidential ". I mean you can go into a bookstore or look on the web and find pics or info on nearly all military hardware. The only confidential part of VBS would be the background stuff and the map editor. For me, that would be the abilty to take maps of real world terrain and incorporate it into the OFP engine. Those who have seen the Powerpoint presentation or Quakergamer's screenshots will know what I'm typing about. :biggrin:

Yeah ! I would to be able to hold two guns - one in left hand, one in the right. Maybe BIS could also add uzi's? A character called Max would be good as well. Must have lean option. And being able to tell individual soldiers  to go somewhere aiming while walking would be nice - You could make some nice town / forest clearing missions - it would also make for a nice cinematic cut-scene.                     Â

Great work Satchel. The only thing that really pissed me off about OFP was the sound and i think that this user addon will be one of, if not 'the' most essential. Are you going to include a small readme txt. to detail what weapon / vehicle / ambience sounds you have changed?
