  1. Ok, thx for the reply guys! Guess I'll wait for yet another patch before trying to change detail settings...
  2. Hi everyone. I was wondering, if the beta patch makes it possible to set all detail settings to maximum? Have anyone tried this? Thx...
  3. Ahh ok, I see. I'll try that out. It's a bit silly it doesn't unlock when you complete the campaign though, but I guess we can't have it all... Thanks for the reply
  4. Ok, thx for the replies, I'll just try editing. I don't know what the name of the library mode mission is, so I don't know what to type in.
  5. Hi there. I've just completed all single player missions in the campaign. In the manual it says, that when you have completed all sigle player missions, then you will be able to select "Library mode", which enables you to try out and test every vehicle and aircraft in the game. But how do you start the "Library mode"? I can't find the menu anywhere... Do I also need to complete all the extra missions not included in the campaign itself? Regards, Bruun

    8007000e Error in Vista

Have you deinstalled the old drivers before installing the new? Also i run a Regcleaner to be sure everything is gone before installing the new drivers. I am using the X-Fi extreme gamer and the driver is working. greets Yes, I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the new ones. What I meant was, that my sound works perfect (it also worked perfect with the old drivers), also in Arma, it just didn't minimize the e800... problem, as Jimlad said it did by him.

    8007000e Error in Vista

I agree that consumers should get their hotfix for major problems like this. But we all have to keep in mind, that Armed Assault is based on more than 3 lines of code, it's not just a single "if then else" statement...! This means that the problem can take some time to identify, but this fix ought to be on the very top of their "to be fixed list", especially since other people have experienced it in XP as well, which BI claims that Arma support. I am also pretty tired of the major bugs in the game and would just really like to play it. I bought the system I have mainly to play this game in full settings, so I know how frustrating it can be, but I guess we have to be patient...

    8007000e Error in Vista

Why is that request so ridiculous? You have yourself stated, that this particular "8007000e error" is also occurring under XP too, and "XP compatible" IS indeed written on the box: So I think that the request for a "1.51 hotfix" is very relevant, EVEN for XP and Vista!

    8007000e Error in Vista

Yes, I've experienced that as well in single player. The -maxmem=512 command actually made the game 100% playable for one campaign level. In the following level ("Kill the enemy officer"), the performace really dropped along with the grapichs quality. Still, the graphics is better than if I don't use the maxmem command, but very far from satisfying...

    Graphical issues in ArmA

Arma did not run flawlessly on my PC, even before the 1.05 patch. I've got the UK version of the game. Which version do you have? The demo ran flawlessly however... But not the full game.

    Graphical issues in ArmA

Oh boy can I relate to this topic! I've just bought an Evga GeForce 8800GTX ACS3 with 768 mb ram. I'm running Vista business (32 bit), and the demo (1.03) worked just fine, the game was even running 100% smooth when aiming into close foliage and trees! Arma finally hits the streets in a UK version and I go to buy it, and voila! The game turns unplayable. It's NOT satisfactory that the demo ran just fine, and the whole game runs VERY slow (even with poor textures as described above). How can this be? The 1.05 update didn't help at all, it actually made everything worse for me! I would also like some of the developers to comment on this excact issue. My system specs: Intel E6600 @ 3GHz 2 GB 800MHz corsair ram (dual channel) Evga Geforce 8800GTX ACS3 768 MB (Nvidia 100.65 drivers) Asus P5WD Deluxe mobo Creative X-Fi Platinum
  13. That fix seems to apply to AGP graphics card users only. Any suggestions for PCI-E users?

    Texture problem

That might be true, but all 768 megabyte of VRam shouldn't be filled out in a matter of seconds! And it suprises me, that I don't have any problems what so ever with the demo. One should think that the full game (UK version) ought to better optimized etc. Just as Marek Spanel have mentioned in this interview with Eurogamer. Sorry about creating a new topic about something described elsewhere Â

    Texture problem

Hi, I'm experiencing problems with very low texture details, even if I have set everything to high/very high (AA disabled) in the video options. The problem has been described briefly under another topic (which primarily disusses another issue): HELP!!! Can't play campaign properly As others have experienced this problem as well, I thought it might deserve a topic of it's own. An exampe of how the grapics look: Sometimes the textures look as they should, but this is very rare and mostly at the first few seconds, then everything is starting to look ugly. The demo version doesnt have this problem, and it runs much smoother at the same settings. My system specs: Windows Vista Business 32bit Nvidia 100.65 driver Intel E6600 Conroe @ 3GHz 2 GB Corsair 800MHz ram (dual channel) Evga GeForce 8800GTX ACS3 768MB
