And Apophis could walk back throught the gate. It's just a suggestion. Besides, we are up to series 9 now. Whos to say they other SG teams wouldnt use a palm pad? everyone could walk in the other side of the gate but its just not "adviseable" Apophis did NOT walk backwards through a gate, thats an urban legend. I just watched the episode to make sure. Apophis and jaffa come through, and the gate shuts down behind them. Then there's a cutscene to the soldiers moving in, and by the time we get back to apophis and the jaffa they have reactivated the gate (somehow). So...stop proliferating the lies

I can fly just fine with the keyboard, but...a puddle jumper with extended pods doesnt fit through the stargate. The end. If you dont like the manual dialing, I would stick with 1.1, they arent that different. I, on the other hand, like memorizing the addresses like a true SG geek

Its bigger than the gate, but if you fly very slowly, enough goes through to transport you, but then you have to back out very slowly...unfortunately, you lose control of any people in the jumper with you at that time. Its cool!

not specifically, but if you read the readme, you'd know to put the description file in your mission folder

okay, okay, ill fix it. I looked into it. The files are gone. They're not in the mission folder anymore and I dont know why. I dont have time to rewrite them because I have to go to work, Ill Repost it as soon as i get everything straight. Also, I have an ftp server, if you all hate rapidshare. Some people have reservations about FTP, I dont know why really. Anyway...sometime tomorrow maybe. Man that pisses me off.

Whats the problem here? The distinction is clear: If you have to unpack someone else's .pbo file to accomplish what you're after, you just crossed the line, and should not re-release it without permission. If you take a mission, like mine, unpbo it, change what kind of soldiers there are in it, or change a line in the breifing, you can NOT morally re-release it without my permission. If you're going to use the stargate in your mission, fine, no one cares. If you want to use a script you made to manipulate the iris or something, I think that's probably okay, but DONT RERELEASE SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK (usually a .PBO) now, everyone should go make a mission because...im bored
