I disagree with that. Around 10fps is ok. On ofp we play cti and always get 7 to 10 fps on q6600 server and it runs fine. If fps is like 3 then you can say mission is to heavy for server.

Hello is there any offical release of new maps for 108? Theres a server called Bierhalle 2 - Ber[z]erk thats runing map called Berzerk v2.0a10 - Desert. Is there an offical mappack for that?

oh 3.6 version is out. We just played the 3.5 version and somethink weird happen. We was deep into game for over 3hours and then the message came up saying map is reseting from game over but no one had won and when the reset message came up and reseted all the towns back to normal our mhq was still dead and we still had our points from last game. Was really messed up and map needs real ending so when it ends you have to reload map

After we at squadserver got our new uk3 server online i tested the server fps today with 52players and really suprised me  http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/635/xrfps52playersnr3.jpg I beleave on my other server with that amount of player it was like 10fps for such a playerload

Im aware of that but i think u missing the point the fps is almost 50 with 50+ players while my other q6600 server hit 5fps with 64 players. For me this amazing. But yeah i should test with ais aswell. Maybe Evo 30 players.When this happens i post the results

Heh i was gonna build dual exon server with mobo like that and 8gb ram but my budgit was 700 so planed to fit 1 exon cpu with 3.0ghxz and 12mb cache and then fit another when needed. This was to host servers but i invested my money else where sence then  Gotta love these new intel cpu's  I also looked at them ram drives few days ago. was 500 pound for a 64gb

CPUZ Thats the hardware there. Nope was no ai's it was berzerk map but even with ais i think the fps will be good. I may test it on Sahrani Life map to see what fps i get as my q6600 server hits 10fps on that map with 32 players because i has many scripts and objects but i guess evo map with 30 players would be a good test with all the ais on it

I can confilm what Dwarden is saying about BE kicking players from when we tested 4days ago. i did say that. What i noticed was an increase in desync when players joined and players geting kicked. I had many reports from admins on my server that BE was kicking people and once they got kicked they couldnt join. Server had some what 18+ players and they was down to 3 after BE kicked them. I aint tested the update of BE yet as my server is back on 108 and i only have 2gb ram and using 1.11 makes my ram hit 2gb. Maybe i test tomorrow with 1.11 on server

Enverex = niteshade from devgru? lol. Anyway back to topic. The day i put 1.11 on server with battleye i noticed problems with high desync when players would join and yellow boxes which wasnt a problem on 108. And because its a beta patch then we can exspect some problems.

Yep i did say that in my 2nd post above. i used all 3 settings. battleye=0; then battleye=1; then removed battleye= from server.cfg and did the same. I just tested again with battleye=0; to make sure. Server ram was 370mb and when server started it went to 904mb and in processes it shows 20,120k memory used.

I guess this could be the 1.11 patch its self causing the problem sence it does it with all 3 settings. A problem with battleye we noticed is that its been kicking alot of players. geting the message (player kicked off by battleye. Client not responding) Today i had reports it kicked off half the players on my server but wasnt there to comfirm that

Hello $able. I work with squadserver and beleave you spoke to nick aka malboeuf about the problem im gonna say. Mal would of posted him self but he cant currentlly post on these forums due to some reasons thats geting cleared up. Mal noticed the increase server ram that showed in the proformance on task manager but didnt show up in the processes which basiclly caused his problems and had to reboot the systems. I did my own test today after i rebooted my system and found that when using battleye=1; or battleye=0; Or not in the server.cfg at all the ram jumps around 600mb when server is started but the increase in ram dont show in the processes at all and due to this reason i cant use it. Map my server runs can use 600mb its self so we taking about my server using around a gig of ram or more using 1.11 with BE

hmmmmmm. sure it was my server? sgt.Jones said (it was a well known clan server advertising Sahrani Life without other addons)We not that known on arma sence we more active on ofp and play in ctitc.com and we dont advertise at all so sounds like he talking about some known clan server that runs sahrani life. Im confused lol. I check logs anyway

What server? Sound like they enabled the hidden menu on map that is designed for map testing. It has a execute script box and buttons to get $999999 money etc. v1.12 has this on map but its disabled

My QX6850 @ 3.4 ghz or more will be online in 2 to 4 weeks that i will use for berzerk type maps. player vs player so i have 2 servers up on arma

Some times i seen people play CTF on my server with around 40 players after berzerk games. Only got like 2 ctf maps on server tho. Anyone know where i can download the MCY map pack?

Things i didnt like when i tested it was when i died i still only could spawn at helipad meaning i had to drive truck from there to base. Also hour into game it was nigh and dark as hell.

Im gonna put this map on both XR Servers. I also upload it to our addon data base http://cr-ofp.dyndns.org/ or anyone can when signed in Havent had time to test it on my main server as it always gets hijacked for Sahrani Life  I try test this later anyway. btw is cti_60_doo_south_b28 the latist version? - Brit

Hi i wanted to know which arma scripts can cause explosions. Reason for this is i run server which records all packet data and theres been alot of hacking with explosions involed. Only one im aware of so far is Bo_GBU12_LGB which is the LGB bomb. What the the scripts for chopper rockets and FEARS and even others that can cause explosions? Sence the packet logger can get around 4gb in size you cant just search though it for scripts so i need to search it with a program for key words. - Rob

Hi i just wondered What network settings are most servers using to to host maps like 64 player berzerk map? I tested these ones today MaxCustomFileSize=350000; MaxSizeNonguaranteed=512; MaxSizeGuaranteed=768; MaxMsgSend=512; MinBandwidth=46384000; MaxBandwidth=47768000; MinErrorToSend=0.008; But they good as laged server so i restored the normal settings i use. Basiclly looking for settings that give good bandwidth for 64 players and keep the jip lag down as much as possable
