Okay, so in the alternative version of the CWC campaign, a couple of soldiers make a bet while r&r'ing in (I think it was morton?). One guy bets his watch, and the other guy bets a "mini lunchman." So, what IS a mini lunchman? BreakerOut

Damn- if i was the motor pool officer, id be pissed about those little Iraqi shits- the nice thing is, is that in 10 years or so, when daddy insurgent buys little hadji an AK, he'll be waiting at the same little corner to ambush whatever forces the new Iraqi army has fielded. Military humor my ass. BreakerOut

BIS- Turn the American Colors patch around on the ACU-style uniforms of the American troops- the field of stars ALWAYS goes before the stripes on the uniform. Breaker Out

I was wondering if there will be any mines included in ArmA, and if so, what types to expect? OFP had a mine resembling the American m-19 antitank mine as the only option that was organic to the game. However, different addonmakers and modders came up with ways of creating tripwires and claymore-style (projectile) mines. I'm hoping that Russian "bouncing-betty" mines will be present, as well as locally manufactured "shoe" mines. I was also wondering if there may be any potential in the game for noncombat-style missions, where you must demine an area (under fire or not), or if there might be missions where you must act as part of a medical unit, ferrying troops, patching wounds, etc. Thanks, Breaker Out

I'm not one to frequent this part of the forums, but I have recently put together three missions that I would like to turn into a mini-campaign. I need someone who can do cutscenes (intr-outro) and help script in endmission stuff. I dont posess the scripting ability to accomplish all this by myself, so any help would be appreciated. I used Lost Brothers addons for the campaign, as well as the 73 easting map. Thanks, please help, Breaker Out

I'll volunteer my vocal cords to the project- do you want me to just hookup my mic and send you what I record? Breaker Out

Well, provided it still allows ofp to run smoothly, I think this could be an interesting addon. Could you run over (or through) a wall like this in an armored vehicle? BreakerOut -
To all involved with the "Unsung" project. Great job. This certainly honors those young men, US, Australian, and otherwise who fought and died in Vietnam. Breaker Out

Ah, thanks for clearing that 'un up. Good video, btw. -Breaker Out

Lawd, I really dislike the ACU. I dislike my BDU's too. The old green fatigues were the best. *sigh* it's only a matter of time until some staff puke decides the ACU needs to be creased... BreakerOut

<spam> I think a tow truck w/ a sign on the side that says "Paco + Smitty Towing" would be awesome. </spam> BreakerOut

If I may- I'd like to see 5-paragraph briefings for each mission Loaders in the appropriate vehicles (those that dont have an autoloader) Larger Maps Larger and more complex cities Multiple AI-landable airfields on maps. Anyhoo, that's part of my wish-list. Breaker Out

It's called idle chatter- it's what forums and free time are for. I gotta say, I get sick of these "get to the point and dont have fun" posts. Folks, this is a free public forum- relax, k? Breaker Out

My favorite OFP moment (in recent memory) involves a short mission I created on Sumpf (a giant, swampy mudhole). I created a small understrength truck-motorized rifle battalion camp, and had a few squads set out to an ORP via Ural and UAZ. At the ORP a security element and the HQ elements set up, and the two assault elements went off to their induvidual attack points. Upon reaching the attack points, a nervous AI soldier let off a couple of shots, completely blowing the element of surprise. Since the mission is set about oh-dark-thirty, the enemy had a few lights on in his patrol base, and quickly doused them as our assault elements dug in for the firefight. Our machine gunners (with the help of the FFUR tracers) began hosing down the camp, killing the pack mules and a few rebels, while our riflement ook more careful shots at the camp. Our RPG gunners fired a couple of shots at the SU-122's in the campsite, one detonating in the mud well short of the target, and the other hitting the SU between the front glacis plate and the side armor, resulting in a myriad of primary and secondary explosions. After cutting down the rest of the rebels, we moved onto the campsite and the mission was over. -Breaker Out
