  1. I can get on board with this. For the most part, ArmA 2 has a pretty thorough selection of military equipment, but certain civilian elements are missing. The fuel truck and ambulance seem pretty logical, since there's versions of them for the other factions. Maybe some sort of sports car for fooling around with (the closest thing is a VW Golf... come on!) and things like a taxi or some of the trucks Daza mentioned would really add to immersion. Also a small civilian plane would be nice to see, but I remember seeing photos of an amazing looking Maule in development a few weeks back. A Mi-2 would fit well, and also have the advantage of filling multiple roles with just a reskin: basic civilian model, lightly-armed Guerrilla/Insurgent models, police helicopter, medivac, news chopper, etc. On the military side, most bases are covered but I do not understand why the CH-46 Sea Knight has not been implemented. It's not planned to start being phased out for another five years and they make up a huge chunk of the Marine Corps air wing. Plus they are in commercial use under various designations around the world. All the non-USMC factions could use a transport aircraft as well. The An-2 is used all around the world and could be given a version for the CDF, Russia, the Insurgents, NAPA, and civilians. Something heavier would be nice to see for the Russians as well; Il-76, An-24... the list could go on. And if you're starting to see a trend here, commercial variants could be modeled as well. The biggest thing I see the military component of the game as lacking however, is small arms. The Russians and Marines have quite a selection, but the minor factions are a bit limited. Given the region and the fact that Chernarus is supposed to be in the middle of a civil war, a lot more obsolete military weapons as well as civilian weapons would probably be in use. A partial list would include things like the SKS, Mosin-Nagant, a couple revolvers (say the 1895 Nagant revolver and a more modern western .357/.38), and probably a few hunting rifles/shotguns. One of the simplest things to add (in theory at least) would be working buckshot. There's already a couple extremely nice shotguns in game, but when they are limited to firing only slugs they become pretty much pointless. I really wasn't planning on going on that long, but yeah... that's about all I'd like to see. Oh, and ACUs.

    Tonal Redux

I rarely post here, but I've been playing on Tonal almost exclusively for a couple years now.. it's a great map and all, but I have to admit I was wanting a change in scenery. I have no doubt this will tide me over at least until AA finds an American publisher.. if only the download will pick up past 25 kb/s.

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

Point taken, but the magazines are still the same. Like I said though, minor nitpick. Fair enough, but for now could you please tell me how to put a .45 in my kit? I've been dying trying to figure out the name..

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

I've been playing with FFUR for some time now, and 5.0 looks great, but I just have a few minor cosmetic/gameplay critiques. First of all, I was wondering why the grenade vests were removed. OFP's loadouts are unrealistically small in the first place, but the vests seemed to be a pretty good step to counteract that. Another thing is the uniforms, particularly the American one (Woodland 85). They are incredibly bright and stick out like a sore thumb on all of the islands. I wouldn't imagine it'd be too hard to just darken them a tad, but then I'm not a modder, so I suppose I could be wrong. Also, and I know I'm nitpicking now, but I noticed that the AK-47s all have brown composite magazines...which is okay on a 74, but I've never even seen them made for the 47. All in all though, great work. I have just one more question.. does anyone have a list of the classnames in the mod? I've driven myself crazy trying to figure out the name of the .45...

    "Can't Get in Vehicle" Bug

Okay, first of all I did try searching for this problem, but was unable to find anything relevant. Anyway, when I start playing a MP game, everything works fine. However, at what seems like a random point, we are unable to have more than one human player enter a vehicle at a time. If player 1 gets in the vehicle as a driver, suddenly player 2's menu loses all "Get in" commands. We even try getting in at the same time. The first player makes it in fine, and the second player does the "get in" animation, but doesn't actually get in. It seems to happen no matter who hosts, what mods/addons we use, and what the game settings are. Does anyone know a fix, or a way around this..or at least what causes it?
