Hi There
I bought a radeon 9600 a few weeks ago and ive been unable to play ofp since. i can get into the login screen. but when i try a custom mission or a campain it quits out onto the desktop. Also i cant update the game to the 1.20 patch upward. I get a sound.pbo error - even if i directly copy from the cd just before i load the patch.
My system spec is as follows:
win xp home
mobo: abit kt7a v1.3
graphics - ati radeon 9600 sapphire
ram 512 pc100 crucial
sound card - soundblaster 16
Ive read through a few forums and i cant find an answer. Is there anyone here who has experienced this before? Know the answer? Your advice and opinions would be welcome.
