Can't agree more on this point Sure realism has limits as it's only a game after all. But for ofp/arma the best is use real values and let the community handle them. But(again) market is here and imho devs take a wrong path with those balance compromises; especially for sims... My AT can't kill the tank in this town/position? Let's call proper support to handle it, now just hide or run away! those game moments are great too, i'm tired of rambo/speshaul forces wtfpwntLOLOLOL...

personnaly i think, ofp will never die.It's a revolutionnary game and it will last for ever It's a one of lifetime game and even 4 years after release there's no other game that can match with it.I had so many great memories of MP and SP on this game. Thank you bohemia for such a great game. On the other hand i also think too much hype on addons "killed" missions makers.But even nowadays its quite easy to get a good coop game and play a mission you never tried before.

Those units are simply great congrats  But one suggestion it would be nice to re-release it with units under all sides(West/East/Res) so that we could have more possibilities for making missions. Just my 2c...

Oftenly those who talk about dying for your own country and things like that are mostly politicians or army high officers like generals:those who won't go to the front line and have 1/1000000 chance to effectively "die for their country". The guys who will die for their country(those on the battlefield,basic soldiers) are mainly trying to stay alive,i suppose they don't have time to think about beautiful concepts like these. Just my 2c...

i also deplore the lack of activity of this forum section but i did my part LINK TO A NICE CAMPAIGN I made a nice campaign on which i focused mainly on missions themselves not only on intros/outros like i read somewhere in this thread. unfortunately this is so true for this game,that's a shame.

Unfortunately i totaly agree with this. But it's a nice concept IMHO,after all it's just a game.

Buffel APC is an amazing vehicle;never seen that before it's a very good idea to make it Poor soldiers boarded back,it must be a creepy feeling when you travel in this
