It's like finding a needle in a stack of needles. Only card that wont play RES right, and the only game that wont play on the card.... Just luck I guess...

Just bought the FX 5600 256MB and got the green screen also. Wish I would have know about this wonderful card before I bought it. Well the only way I could fix it is to uninstall RES and reinstall it with just the original addons. To many addons in the RES addon folder I guess... I made a copy of the original addons so if down the road I get more and the green screen comes back, I'll be able to tell what I need.... hope this helps.

Hi Guys i need some help. i am having big problems with my Ofp game since i have installed my new Gforce 4 video card. i formated my harddrive and after that i wasnt able to play ofp in any resolution its running like an dia show step by step. i have installed it 1000 times have changed any video card settings i know but it doesnt effect any changes to the game. i have tried some other games but they are all running fine. i have tried anything i know but i have reached the limit of my expierience in that kind of things maybe some1 have had the same kind of probs and can help me outta the dark valley PLEASE

If you havent found it yet go to yahoo and look for all seeing eye. Problem I have is that you have to pay for it. Gamespy is free.... your chioce

Personally I think some players stay on 1.46 because they use cheats. Res stopped the main cheat(cable cheating). Also stopped the cheat where you can hear people crawling 500 yards away....IMHO I can never get ASE to work right or I would use it instead of Gamespy.

I dont use my callsign in here. I have seen you around in gamespy I think.

I usually move the squad around in a V. For me it seems like they notice enemy to the flanks better that way. Then when engaging I change to the line. I also have never used teams.

I think he said that he was playing Res now and was letting his dad play cold war. 2 Different cds.

LOL I had this same problem when useing ASE (all seeing eye) so i started useing gamespy and never had a problem since... I also upgraded to a cable modem though.

Same happened to me... Had to put the upgrade in the Res addon folder. Not the OFP addon folder. Worked fine after that....

You are probably missing an addon for that map. Thats my guess.

Are you using gamespy or the all seeing eye?

It happened to me once playing Red Hammer. Whenever I got out of a tank. The gunner in that same tank would shoot me. I cant remember which map it was though. So you are not the only one.....

Fact: Â The person in Multiplayer that loses to lag is the one with the cable or high speed connection. Â How many times have you come around a corner, see a guy looking the other way, shoot him, and then he turns around and shoots you before he actually dies? Â This can only be because the person u shot in useing 56k or a slow connection. Sorry, but IMHO Â high pings (bad connection) does cause lag....

Is one machine on Vet mode and the other on cadet? Vet mode doesnt show where you are on the map...??

IMHO DSl would be the minimum. Â Only problem is that leaves out some of the new guys just starting the game. On the other hand most new guys aren't in ladders because they are not in squads or clans yet.

I cant even get direct speak to work. Does anyone even use it?
