    hey cpt_navig I can't really understand what you mean, What happens when you meat the iranian, is he there, does the game crash or will it not tell you what to do next. I've had problems with the two FOB's being checked off when completed, looking into it though. Thanks for trying though

  6. Hello i am getting errors when i run this, it still creates the units however i think it is messing up which side i am on. I get an "error missing }" and something to do with "CEP playerside - expected playerside" i copied your examples in the readme exactly, and changed the exec to execvm on the init call but still i get the errors. I am Civi, i get east side to join me, i recognise enimies(west) on radio but they won't shoot at me. Cheers

  8. I just made my first intro to a mission i'm doin. Any suggestions or comments would be great, critism also good 6mb SLX people addon needed - SLX People Intro is here known bugs: sometimes the people don't look at each other when having a conversation, i used dotarget but it only works some of the time. one of the civies is actually a soldier, not really a bug but a mistake i forgot to change b4 i uploaded it in the beginning when the player and his wife move to the busstop either one of them might go prone - this is because of that soldier i forgot to change to civi

AWESOME! very good script mate and the documentation is second to none. gonna use this in my mission. chrz Edit - just a Q i put this in the init line of gamelogic: [WEST,[EAST], [civilian], ["Remove", 10]] exec "dgc_reloaded\dgc_init.sqs" So it will remove bodies after 10 seconds, but it didn't work. I am using it on single player btw. Cheers

    Its my first intro and i'm quite proud of it lol, it took me like 2 days to do so i wanted to get some feedback on it Thanks will look into that OK will not do it again I've put it on OFPEC but i usually post the same threads on here to to get a different point of view or answer.
  12. i think it just changes the model but i'm not sure if the unit will keep the medic capabilities cos i don't know if there tied to the model, im not 100% sure it will work in this case. give it a try I used this trick to make east soldiers look like civilians and setcaptive true them so the west dont shoot, then made a script so they setcaptive false at a certain time and get masacred lol.

Dunno, if it will work - but it might: Create the unit as a medic, add the custom loadout and save. then alt+tab out and edit the actual mission file in notepad- scroll down to the unit in question and change vehicle from the medic model to the sniper model, this way he will look like a sniper but be a medic. Like i say dunno if the actions (eg heal) are attached to model. Give it a try If you do this then change something to do with this unit in the editor it will change the model back to medic - so make the change just b4 u .pbo it. (obviously check if it works first)

  15. Hi, i'm tryin to create a kind of DMZ across the map using fencing - so its 2 fence-lines cutting the map in half. So i started copying and pasting the fences and all looked well in the editor, i then went to check my fences ingame and found that on steep hills the fences would stick into the floor on the uphill so the player could just walk over them, and stick out from the ground on the downhill so the player could just walk under them. I'm sure someone has tried to create a massive fence line before and come accross this problem. Is there a solution?? Thanks

Im a bit of a newb at this edditing but ive got my head round alot this week, ive just done a cam script but for some reason it won't finish the script and return to the game after fade out, it just stays black. i know i'm just missing a command or something. this script is: Also, ive done a cutscene in the intro part of the mission which i want to be played when a certain thing happens in the actual mission. Its basically a firing squad. Its works nice when i preview it in the editor in intro. But i want it to be a scipt in the mission and when a trigger is activated it runs the scipt. So what i did is copy the Class Intro bit of the mission.sqs and copy it into another sqs attached to a trigger. I thought this would place the units involved in the cutscene and then run the cutscene. but it doesn't. is there any way to run a cutscene which has units not in the original mission without doing outro win or loose. The scipt is below. Thanks. This is what i copied from the original intro and this is the camera operations, which works nice in intro preview in editor. One last thing at the end of that firing squad script i want it to end the mission with the ending number 2, so it shows the relevent debrief but i cant find the command. Thanks
  17. Hmm, i copied all the relevant files and such onto a mission i am doing on the south desert sara island and it says "resource ctrlparadiag not found", i then copy it all back to normal sara island and it works fine, so methinks its a map problem. any ideas??
  18. Hello, as you can tell by my username, i am a newb at editing for ArmA. I have created a mission which i think is pretty good, however i'm having problems with extraction. I can synchronise the heli's to come and pick up the troops by linking it to a "opfor not present" trigger. However this is cumbersome and tends not to work. I have seen a mission where once you have finished ur objective you can click the map and a heli will pick your teams up and extract them. The mission is 1st_Battalion_Para_Regiment. I am wondering if someone can help me impliment this into my mission, PM me and i will send you the mission. If you can do it i will add your name in the credits and be very greatfull to you!!! Goin to bed now, then to work so I won't be back for about 18 hours, then i am at your disposal for about 7 hours Please help! P.S if you do except this and you notice some things in the mission that you have idea's on or think can be done better i will fully support this. Thanks Again!

    Hi, thanks for the reply. I have managed to use an extraction script activated by radio and popping a smoke. However sometimes it works, and other times the chopper just flies strait off. I used this script http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=61803 However when i create the trigger which has the activation "{_x in Blackhawk} count units player == {alive _x} count units player" I get an error "Type Bool, expected Nothing". Im sure if i can figure this out it will work. Cheers

    Ive been trying to add this into my mission, however when i create the trigger which has the activation "{_x in Blackhawk} count units player == {alive _x} count units player" I get an error "Type Bool, expected Nothing" Also you didn't mention what to call the second script thanks. Edit, found out its called smoked.sqs
