yes, but i don't see a 'key' associated with your tag. OPFEC and the BI Wiki should give you all the info that you need to make the necessary signed files. i apologize if i am coming across as being pushy. that is not my intention. it's simply that i believe that your work is insanely good and it would be a shame if we couldn't use it on signed servers. imho, your addon is one that everyone should have installed.

william1, thank you for the racs_replacement addon, but i'm afraid to tell you that it also needs a '.bikey' file for the server.

this maybe a silly question... is there any reason for the installer rather then a @LowPlants folder? to be more specific, does the installer create something that is different for every user based on their system and configuration of arma? if i was to install it on my system, could i distribute it to my friends and have it work for everybody? i haven't tested this yet, but will this cause issues on servers that require signed addons?

i was just gonna make you a list. thank you for also doing this. seriously, i'm noticing more and more public servers are locking down. to make it easier, instead of the '@General' and '@Replacement' addon folders that you have, i created addon folders labelled '@SignedAddOns' and '@UnSignedAddOns'. this has been very convenient and has made it quick and easy to edit my shortcut when i need to.

i have to say that along with ArmaEffects, this mod has dramatically changed my gaming experience for the better. i simply cannot play without it. one of my favorite aspects is that you give the user options. i'm wondering if you plan on giving even more options? to be very specific, i am hoping to see more options for the UI. take CSL UI Mod V1 for example... some very interesting options are included. even if you never update this addon again and label it as 'complete', i could not see myself ever parting with it. but if you do plan on expanding it, or if you are taking requests, may i suggest options for the menus. the only issue i currently have with truemods (a very minor one) is the way the bottom is displayed. it is very difficult (at least for me it is) to tell what is going on with my teamates. the soldier icons seem to blend far too easily into the background. maybe the option to have a solid or semi-transparent strip to increase the contrast and thus the readability of the icons will be beneficial for many users. am i making sense?

i think that my comment was either misunderstood or miswritten (or even both). for that, i apologize. the point is that even though there are major, major mods in development to accomplish certain community needs, the community is never apathetic. it is always pro-active. it is always finding the best possible solution for today. just as this thread is accomplishing! all it takes is one person to spawn a movement and people will follow and contribute. i have, and i'm sure many others have, completely restructured their add-on folders because of this thread. it has greatly enhanced my SP and MP (both coop and pvp) experience. even if a super-all-purpose-mod comes along and takes care of most of what is discussed here, we will still have this thread as a resource to cover everything that we all want to see in arma. the best part of this thread, it's constantly evolving around what is released.

As it looks now I will get home tonight and I have enough time to re-pack my bags. I'll be home in a couple of weeks.. I'm planning to fix some small things and release the addon signed with all the necessary keys. ColonelSandersLite, without your various replacement add-ons, i would have never discovered how good ArmA can truly look. now that the public server community is moving to more secure instances, would it be possible that you sign your wonderful additions?
