attilauk replied to fighter's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Oh was that a nuclear bomb?? I thought it was just some big ass bomb  Anyhoo I am against weapons like nukes and MOABs being implemented in OFP...They're simply too powerful. They don't fit in it was just a fuel-air bomb, they explode twice.  Once to spread liquid fuel in small droplets around a large area and the second incendiary explosion ignites the fuel-air mixture causing a massive explosion.  the reason it is used to "clean" infected areas is because the burning fuel-air mixture is so hot it destroys the viral and bacterial agents and sterilizes a very large area. ? Um as far a i know there is no such thing as a radiation wave!  and activation energy in a nuclear device is the energy required to start a nuclear chain reaction (either Fission or Fusion) i.e. a big ass explosion!  There are electromagnetic waves like light, UV light, gamma rays and X-rays but no Radiation waves.  I think you mean that the radioactive alpha and beta particles given off by the spread of radioactive material get carried with dust by the wind which depending on the amount and type of material in the bomb governs how dangerous the bomb is.  A dirty bomb could render an area dangerously irradiated for hundreds possibly thousands of years so i think they would kill more than a handfull of people! Sorry but i've done a course in Nuclear and Particle Physics during my A-Levels and i had to set you straight! *back on topic* i like the grey colour scheme and i dont have any lag problems (but then again i did build my rig for large Civil Engineering CAD projects at uni) but i was disapointed with the way the aircraft handles i only hope he improves  the flight charicteristics next time cos i love fat alberts -
wow! that looks well impressive, i love the idea of a build your own C130 (i always loved making airfix kits when i was a kid). keep up the good work mate Â
-
fair enough, i couldn't tell the difference between a F3 and a GR4 if they were sat in front of me anyway
-
the pair which flew over my village on the weekend had grey nosecones, but it doesn't look as good imo
-
good, it should do, the m1a1 is nearly 20 years older than it! i'm really looking forward to having some opposition tanks which can hold their own against the yank stuff!
-
lookin good mate, i bet that thing is great fun to drive, 6.5 litre lump + plastic body = bloody good fun!
-
you've just got too many addons for your machine to handle, i get it all the time, just bung your addons into folders it makes life a lot easier! btw i love that T90, it looks awesome!
-
Not being funny but if you were turned out when the missile hit you would still be dead!
-
i found this on my hard drive, i was trying to make a cutscene of that old RAF TV advert with the harriers getting shot at whilst hammering down a valley.
-
Ha Ha, missed me!
-
Yeah, rally stylee its just a shame that flashpoint cant handle drifting that well. one small thing is i've never heard a Cossie sound like a tractor before  other than that its good fun!
-
Scuse my ignorance, but what is that big Russian Bird? Â Its awesome! where can i get it?
-
Stayin low to avoid radar!
-
cheers mate they're great
-
Hi just gotta say i love these addons, i was really impressed when i downloaded them I was just wondering, are you planning to do the Foreign Legion? I have checked your site and couldn't find anything on them. Â I think it would be great to have the hardest special forces in the world in flashpoint!

Need Support! Support Arrived Â

Don't slag off european standards, i'm going to have to work to them in the future! ok some of them might seem pointless but they are only introduced for our safety! P.s. football is a very poor game, rugby is far better!
-
i know a bunch of wwii vets, they are the most foul mouthed gits i know!, good on em . Â i went to the rolls royce test pilot reunion meal the other year, i was on a table with lord an lady DeHaviland, lord and lady Fairy (as in swordfish!) and the chief test pilot on the TSR2 project! as well as the guy who looks after the Rolls Royce Spitfire (i was on work experience with him!) it was a superb day i learned so much and met at least ten guys who survived the Battle of Britain!
-
come on, have it! p.s. its 3.30am and im as drunk as a skunk!
-
I was just looking through the qinetiq website when i came across this it's so cool a plastic APC! Â Do you think we will be seeing this type of armour on the next generation Challenger? i think so!
-
i have seen the 5mm thick clear plastic sheets which can take a 7.62mm rifle round at point blank range without any visible damage in our universitys advanced composites lab! plastic is the future! another thing DERA managed (before they became qinetiq) was a rail gun the size of a 120mm tank cannon which launched 5kg alluminium slugs at 4000m/s, a standard 120mm cannon's muzzle velocity is about 700m/s! BOOM!
-
i saw in a magazine (FHM i think) some muppet added a jato unit to his pickup truck in the us (only in the us!) he took of a canyon wall and hit the other side! ha ha (in a nelson stylee )
-
the first game i played was choplifter on the c64 as well! that and trapdoor, i loved that game and my dog chewed the tape up!
-
thanks mate that helps a lot, cheers
