Hi all,
I am having a problem with Operation Flashpoint and the EditorUpdate102 from Gunslinger. I have downloaded the update and installed it to my G:\Games\OperationFlashpoint\AddOns directory. There are now two files called editorupdate102.pbo and EditorUpgrade102.pbo located in the AddOns directory. I am using Version 1.75 of OPF and have installed the Resistance
software. I am running on a P4 1.8 and WindowsXP Pro.
Here's the problem. Whenever I try to load a mission that uses the update file, I still get the following error while loading cut scenes.
Cannot load mission, missing addons: editorupdate102
The missions continue to load, and I can play them, but the cut scenes get scrapped. Does anyone know anything about this. I just don't get it. I have tried several SP missions and a couple of new campaigns. They all do this.
Also, I have downloaded a number of missions from this site. However, several of them do not come with a pbo file. Instead, I get a variety of files and a mission.sqm. If I try to start these missions from within OFP (Single Player), it drops back to the main screen. I am not sure how to use these. Do I need to compile them into .pbo files? Which tool do I use to do this?
