Will you be making a version to play as the US?

Don't get me wrong. I like the Mods and addons that the community brings to the game... But I don't like having to go out and try and find all the Mods and addons that a server is using just so I can play a mission. If the Vehicles were included in the game to begin with there would be much less confusion and trouble. In OFP I hated downloading a really cool mission and then having to scour the web to find and download all the vehicles that were needed to play the mission properly.... I guess I was just hoping that BIS would have included everything from OFP and then added MORE. Like just Imprve upon what was already so good in OFP. It just feels like 2 steps backwards in the vehicles and items category, compared to what we we used to having in OFP.

I have this problem also. It works fine In single player and in my "Edit Profile" I can load the Editor and put my custom face on the AI and verify that it works,(this setface "custom") but when I go to play online All I am is a white blank face and hands... The file is in the correct folder and I have made sure its under 60k. Its 48k. I even created a new profile and placed it there. Same results... I'm also having issues with my XML file & Logo....

I feel that Sprocket/softwrap is the worst... I feel as I've been cheated. I paid full price to "Rent" a game... Everytime I re-install, or update the game via a patch I have to "check out" the game again... At least with EA downloader or Steam, I own the game and am free to reinstall the game as many times as I feel or need. I'm never using Sprocket again!! They should just give each user unlimited licenses. What happens when Sprocket goes out of buisness? None of use will be able to install the game ever again! Wasted money... We can't even re-download the game... What kind of "Download" service is that? EA and Steam allow unlimited downloads... And Steam allows you to make CD and DVD backups after. I like BIS, but this Sprocket/Softwrap deal is the worst... BAD BAD BAD...

The Multiplayer Join CTD seems to be Nvidia onboard network card related, and or Firewall, for most people. The Random CTD might be GFX related... Did you notice that you all had ATI cards X1600 or 1650... Could be a driver glitch... Maybe reinstall drivers, Use one version back. Try turning off AA, Post Process, Textures, See if that helps... If you can get that far... I used to have this issue with 1.02 while in Multiplayer, But since 1.05 It has gone away... Pentium D 945, 3.4GHZ 2GB Ram GeForce 7950GT 512MB

Well Sprocket seems to be the worst online download setup I have used.... I have the CZ sproket download... The limited number of installs is the most retarted thing ever. Its like you don't OWN your game... You just paid money to be able to use it for a while... Services Like Steam allow you to purchas games and then make a backup DVD of them that don't need to be re-registered or penalise you for re-installing it or downloading it. EA also allows unlimited re-downloads, I have the BF2 expansions and BF2142 and I have no worries of re-installing them. With Sprocket I feel like they took my money and I was only allowed to rent the game. If my PC crashes and or another Update comes out that makes me need to reinstall I'm screwed... Or I have to wait all weekend for their support to "acctivate" my license... My thought is that they need 24hr 7 day support, or get rid of the limited license... Any way one thing is certain, I'm never buying from Sprocket again. I will only buy from Steam or on CD/DVD. At least then I feel like I own the program.

I Play GRAW (Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior) with 4 people on a LAN with only 1 set of CDs. Just load the game one at a time and pass the CD. Works great for Lan Co-op! Rainbow Six Vegas works the same...

With 1.05 It will allow you to choose from the original language version and English... So in your case it was CZ so you can choose CZ or EN. Morphicon Download will allow German and English... Etc... Etc...

I want to know if the crash to desktop after 5 to 45 minutes of Multiplayer play has been fixed. That made version 1.02 not even playable.

I have stopped playing the game since 1.02 rendered my online play usless. The Game crashes after 2-45 Minutes... I like to Play Co-op so 45 minutes is just starting to get good and then I CTD. (Crash to Desktop) so Its not wortht the trouble of starting a game. I too wish Bis would at least let us know thay are aware of the CTD problems and other issues and that they are working on them. At least other companies like EA, Ubi, Activison etc... do that much. I have been checking the website since the 16th looking for the patch. In my opinion releasing a UK version that is not compatible with the other versions was a very bad idea. Should have had the patch ready to coincide withthte UK release.

The CTD during Multiplayer only happens in an internet game for me. I have the CZ Sprocket Download version and when playing an Internet Game It will crash after anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 Minutes of play. But in a LAN game I can play for about 2 hours, and then I quit and restart my PC because there seems to be a memory leak. The games gradually gets slower and slower. After a Fresh restart we can play for another 2 hours or so on LAN. I think its a network error of some kind related only to internet games. Just gets triggered by JIP and boats etc... Something to do with game sync. PC Specs: 3.4 GHz Dual Core 2 Gigs 5300 DDR2 512 MB Geforce 7950 GT

Anyone else have trouble when in a Tank or APC and not being able to run over AI that are in a crouch or standing. Speed didn't seem to matter either. I have hit the AI when going quite fast and they just seem to be pushed in front of the vehicle. They don't even seem to take damage. I actually have to stop and backup then use a gun to shoot them. If I remember correct you had no problem running people over in OFP.

If anyone of you have ever shot an M249 or M240 Bravo, they do not have a vertical much recoil... The M249 shoots a .223 round the same as the M4 or M16, This round makes "some" barrel rise recoil when shooting the M16 or M4, but on the M249 the recoil is horizontal, (back and forth) This is because the gun itself weighs much more that the M16/M4. So in a crouched or prone position the gun is very accurate even in long full auto bursts. Also the front of the M249 has an adjustment for rate of fire. The M240 shoots the larger 7.62 round so it naturally has more recoil, but again its a horizontal recoil due to the longer barrel and extra weight, as compaired to the AK47 witch also uses the 7.62 round. I hate how most games make Machine gun inacurate and not very powerfull. An M249 will stop a speeding car in a matter of seconds. Not to mention that the M240 is the same gun that is the Coaxial MG in most Armoured vehicles, including tanks. Belive me I have first hand experience with both guns.
