i have a similar problem, only mine locks up into a black screen with a mouse cursor that can't move. I have: Pentium III 866 mhz with MSI mainboard. 256 mb of ram, and ME.

My computer locks up every time i run ofp. I get into it but when it says codemaster genious at play the picture is all messged up and flashing. It goes to a point where the screen turns black and theres only a mouse pointer. I cannot do anything but reset.
