That's great... lots of bugs and I can't read German! lol However, I'm trying to edit it... does anyone know where the scripting calls up the team switch menu? My quick work around (idea) is to just add it to either a radio command or even easier add it to the action menu for each player. -
Hey guys, I've noticed that sometimes only occasionally and sometimes nearly 99% of the time when I play this mission the following bug occours: When you press "T" to open up the menu that allows you to recruit soldiers, take missions etc... NOTHING HAPPENS! I'm hosting this on my own dedicated server, so I don't know if this is a server bug, mission bug, or client/arma2 bug? Anyone have this problem as well? Know any ways to fix it? EDIT: Rejoining the server resolves this problem... for a while =S Also I've noticed that the mission uses the "team switch" command... and yes my key is bound correctly! xD

Yeah mine likes to change to rockets even though using the chaingun would be a lot better idea... also he doesn't aim at the enemy when I use the target command with manual fire on with nose gun selected. ArmA 1, he would aim by himself at any target that was called up, and I could then "mouse1" and blow whatever it was way. No such luck with ArmA 2! -

Yeah that's all I found on it too. =S Either way I can't afford a performance hit. I'm stretching out my view distances on this rig instead of quality. Snipers need to be able to see whats out there ya know? xD -

Not a bad idea! A merge would be useful, although I'm sure they're aware of this problem. However, it'd still be useful to have all who are experiencing this problem in one thread. -

Well its weird because the Arma2.cfg shows postfx=0 (or whatever the entry is, I'm at work atm) so I'm not too sure its an options menu problem. I think somethings just fishy with 1.02 and the postprocessing values period. -

Yeah, theres something going on with the toggle in the options. This has nothing to do with fillrate setting. Mine is at 100% to ease your mind. Setting HDRPrecision=32 seems to fix it. However I do not know what this setting configures. Also with it set to 32 I notice a slight preformance hit, however that may just be me being paranoid lol. Even turning shadows onto high I notice a decent preformance hit... this game is a beast to run! -

Hello, Since the 1.02 patch, my game starts up really blurry in the distance. Its almost as if Post Processing Effects were on Very High. The kicker is, however, when I go to my graphics options... the dropdown box says "disabled"! Switching from disabled to low and back fixes this issue. However occasionally I've noticed very jerky FPS! I'm running: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz Quad Core 4 GB of RAM 2x ATI 4870s in Crossfire 10,000 RPM WD Raptor HD Windows 7 64-Bit Build 7100 Any ideas guys/gals? -
I am mostly interested in the sounds! But a lot of the weapons still use the old sounds, like the M16A4 / AK47U etc... are you aware of this? Also is there a way to just take the sounds out of this modification to use by themselves?

First off we could start with the ability for a person to load up a Jeep for example, into a Chinook... then get out and be able to fly it around... possibly for other vehicle/aircraft combinations... Secondly, the ability for the firing out of APCs that support that, ex. the BMP has gunports but you really cant do anything to them... maybe an option to shoot out of the current port you're sitting by or something? And last but not least, the subject of WATER in the game... to include the ability to swim, and go down in the water (rather than just skimm across the top like in some games)...

I like that idea, otherwise everyone'd just stand up in the back of a 5T truck and shoot out the back... still cool to have to actually get to a seat to sit down... etc... things like that -

Hey, I'd like to see what others think about this... The current sniper we have is rather cool... only problem is it has this really fancy bright greenish/yellow (what I like to call "fireweed") bush sticking out of his back... wich again is really neat... only problem is, for the cammo to actually work... you need to find one of those little bushes that look like the cammo... you find one, they're only like half a foot tall and nearly as wide... your really cant hide in one of those ... So heres my idea: The ability to either have certain models with different types of the foilage from different bushes actually in the game or to be able to take foilage from nearby bushes thus getting it changed that way... Might be a bit iffy on the necessity side of things, but none the less just cool So anyone have any other ideas that are like this, etc... ?

I've complained about this ever since they implimented the "walk" mode in OFP... Try this: As you're standing upright, bring up your iron sites, then hit the "walk" key, and walk foward... your sites stay up... now strafe left and right... they stay up... now if you take off "walk" mode, the iron sites go down... Now try this: As you're crouching, bring up your iron sites, then hit the "walk" key, and walk foward... your sites GO DOWN... now if you strafe left and right, they stay up... take off walk mode and they go down as they're supposed to... so problem is... If you are in "standing mode" and walk the sites stay up If you arei n "crouching mode" and walk, the sites go down, but yet your character stands up to move foward... anyone see the problem with this?

BESIDES THAT POINT! The point of that is if you go to crouch or something you can keep the enemy in your sites the whole time... not that you're actually going to shoot them. If you're moving foward and you have your sites up, and you stop, your sites go down, then when crouched they come up again, during that time you could easily be able to line up your shot giving you that extra edge... it becomes vital for smooth play... its not a HUGE bug, just a little quirk that could be fixed...

Also your sites shouldnt go down when transitioning from standing to crouching, how hard is it to put down a knee? Also the implimentation of leaning around corners? hold down the q key to lean left, let go and the player goes back... maybe a "sticky toggle" option for those who prefer that... really annoying to go into a town and have to expose you're whole body whilst getting quite a few 7.62mm rounds in your rump when you want to see if an enemy is around the other side...

Hey all, I used to run OFP on my windows 98 machine, after upgrading to 2000 pro, multiplayer does not work anymore. I can not connect to anyones server on either Sockets or DirectPlay, games like Americas Army and well, EVERY other games I have works fine. Anyway, Does anyone have any ideas why i can not connect to any servers?, btw I'm using 1.91... Thanks! (If you want any more info just ask!

Negative on the XP, it was just a trial disk I got to test it out... kept freezing my computer anyway so I reverted back to this hard drive (with Windows 2000 on it) so i DOUBT its internet firewall... i'll try the setup with the cable modem when no one'll get pissy for me unplugging the network soon lol... If that doesn't work anyone think they'd be up for a challenge of helpin' me?
