Why hasnt Bis released an sdk for operation flashpoint to help modders. Would be an excellent idea, and would probably help to make it more popular.

I was playing the mission fireworks.. and I messed up and decided to just start the whole thing over.. no problem right? WRONG when i came back to the fireworks mission my weapons stockpile had completely emptied out. only the weapons i USED from the previous mission were left. This has NEVER happened before.. ive completely started over on missions several times w/o losing all my equipment in my stockpile.. why did it suddenly decide to go away now? is their anything i can do or am i just completely screwed.. help would be much appreciated.. thx

wow bad ass.. thx for all the help, i ended up just having my men stay towards the front of the base to deal with the immediate infantry threat while me and two other men got some mines.. i then grouped every1 up finished off the soldiers and planted 12 mines halfway between the forest bottleneck and the base.. and finished of leftover tanks with rpg's.. and just hauled ass when the choppers came.. the trick seems to be those mines..

another question: is there a fast and easy way to get my men to collect mines and satchels at the ammo crates?.. I always seem to be spending 30 mins (exagerating) trying to get my men to pick up each item 1 at a time (couldnt find a way to pick up 3 or more at a time) if there is plz tell, thanks

i dont have much of an opinion on this subject.. havent read up much on it or watched the news lately, but i will always side with a peaceful resolution in any situation.. killing people just isnt worth it over anything...

can anyone tell me how u can stockpile on guns, ammo and equipment.. or direct me wear to read such instructions.. much appreciation..

question: how do u do a "vietcong" thing and pick up all those items off the dead when i dont have any room to pick them up.. (id have to drop something)

I'm stuck on this missions called counterattack. Ive tried stocking my men up with rpgs (about 5 men with 3 rpgs each).. and im able to take out about 4 tanks.. but thats it.. (theres like 8 tanks) in the notes it mentions using satchel charges, but i cant find those anywhere on the gear selection menu.. and i cant find any satchel charges at the base we're defending.. if anyone can help itd be much appreciated, thx

for this one, i did not fire a single bullet. I was able to sneak in and place a satchel w/o ever being noticed.. their weekness? the backside of the scud facing the hill. Approach the scud from the moutainside and stay very quite and use the nearby trees for cover. If u come in at exactly the right angle, they wont even glance at you.. it takes a while but it works! (at least for me). OH and one other thing.. leave the rest of your mean in the nearby forest to the right of the 'enemy area' (its much easier to be unseen w/o ur group tagging along) Once youve planted the satchel sneak back out to the forest where the rest of ur men are b4 u detonate the satchel (dont go too far or you wont be able to set it off, I was able to set it off at the edge of the forest b4 i was out of range of the satchel) .. hope this works for you.. gl

ok, ive been able to get in the chopper, but i dont have a gunner, how am i supposed to blow up anything w/o a gunner??? and Crazy Ian, ive been able to get in the bmp but same thing, no gunnner, how do i shoot stuff?
