    Guys i also thank you on my behalf for all your good comments, we glad you like it cause this is the only reward for many hours of work of our team and off coarse of all the other people that helped us in this project. @Inkompetent, glasses are sad story.We did the best we could reinforcing them with the alternative to be non braking ones, so you see the dilemma on it. Last, for the flight model i totally agree with Liongreek and the rest of the team.Be sure that it will never feel like the real one cause the game is not a flight sim. I am sure that if this is not good enough for lets say 50% of people and we change it, then the other 50% who might like it will then say it is not really agile in comparison to this or that. Everybody have their point of view on it and it is respected all the way but please don't try to compare especially when there is no "true" absolute helicopter to comparison with. Be sure that if there was such a thing this addon would follow it's specific set of rules. Steady aim and clear skies to all...ehhh well i am not sure the second is the best wish to give to a pilot of attack heli

    Well guys we are working on many projects both for air and land  Unfortunately most of them are in modeling or basic O2 import face so I can not really tell you what pack 4 will include. On the other hand  judging from the work load  and since we are already flying with the AH-64 I can tell you that the Apache will certainly be in it. So we have concentrate our efforts to bring it to a point that we can present it public and then off coarse proceed with it's goodies . Plan so far has FFAR's-Hellfire-Stingers-Flares, ECM countermeasures, moving pilots hatches, HWM damage indicators, HWM destruction system  and as usual much more I hope Any more ideas on it? Cheers

    Hello Manzilla, All Sry for our late replay but you know summer   distract us from our daily things hehehe Now regarding the M72 issue, unfortunately we know . Actually not putting it in the ammo boxes was done in purpose. As you said we had to keep 2 "must" for the sake of realism 1)M72 is a one shot disposable AT 2)M72 is a folded weapon So  as you know we can't put scripts or Event handlers on the weapons it self in order to make the M72 completely global with all above conditions present and with folded capability, so we tried to take a detour Actually if you check the weapon is folded on the shoulder and when you switch to fire it is opening.Believe me this gave us hell to do because every time you were firing the weapon it was closing in the player's hand looking completely stupid I manage to overcome this by doing some silly tricks and by hiding the empty weapon immediately after firing. Now everything was working like a charm, even if you grabbed the weapon from a dead GI.If it was unused you would shoot if not then you were just carrying an empty tube The same thing is happening if you create the weapon somewhere and you go pick it up. For some only BiS reason when you are picking up AT weapons from boxes they are getting to inventory unloaded.I search everything to resolve this but nothing So the disposable issue remained and one solution seemed to  exclude the other. In order  not delay the release more we decide not to put the LAW in the ammo boxes. Actually in our games if we want to grab one we are just creating them in the ground ready to picked up. At the moment I have no idea how can I make it working with ammo boxes too . Any ideas would be very appreciated Fritz160 wolf, regarding  Leo & m113A we will make reskins BUT at this point we have plans to upgrade them a little bit by adding better textures more details and full internal views. Since this will change the UV maps it would be like double job to re reskins now and again latter . But I promise, you will see them in the near future + vietnam M113a . Ohh I also checked what you said about UH-1. Noted and it will get fixed on the next release, thanks for the comment. cheers and stay tuned,  we will release pack 4 WIP pictures pretty soon

    Hello all and once again on behalf of the team thank you all for your comments!! After almost 3 days from release and Judging from your feedback I think that it is safe to assume that we don’t have any major problem or bug that is causing  serious trouble! So the first one who will find a bug will get a big present and of coarse executed after Some quick answers: @IceBreakr, As Aplion said if you want to use a liter version you can download the Pbo’s separate from HWM site. Please note here that if you don’t download Units you will be unable to play with the Greek UH-1 but normally you will not have problems with RACS and US versions The linked Pbo’s that are including all the necessary files for the UH-1s are Weapons and Core. @EricM Just a quick note/info here! The actual values in the config are not changed but with the rear flaps moving there is a change in geometry and AMRA engine handling which does not allow the nose to make  deep pitches and thus making it more stable. I just wish in ARMA 2 we will see more realistic controls including main rotor tilts like real life!! @ Manzilla Regarding the question about weapons selection the answer is positively yes. Actually this was the way the cargo system was working at the beginning, it did a sweep in classes and then it displayed all weapons and magazines (Bis or Community). Unfortunately this way a mission maker does not have the choice of customizing the mission gear and also we are creating a possible exploit in which everyone can pick the bigger gun with infinite ammo. As I was fooling around with it in MP today I debugged the add magazine/weapon commands and I can now safely say that the no MP problem is not with them. So despite it is still far from perfect we believe that the current system and combat logics should be something like that and if there is interest from the community we intend to make it even better with first goal MP compatibility. Ohh and we will also correct that stupid mistake you mendioned, thank you for that. Any ideas or comments on it are always welcomed of coarse!!! @dave317 Dave as LionGreek said we are aware of this problem. The issue is that on our internal versions we are using different sounds that we decided to hold back until next release in order to make a full face lift on them. If you think it is too annoying then go on the UH-1 class and find <span style='color:red'>insidesoundcoefficient</span> If I recall correctly the old value should be somewhere between 0.05. And Finally  @Sparky Since it’s like 40 degrees outside and girlfriends left us, go grab your swim suit and let’s go find two new ones . Consider finding a girl with modeling experience in 3dMAX this time!! After all who knows we may need them to make a gunship version, right? Cheers!!

  9. Ok gents, As you saw in the video that sparky took from beta test we have made the base for the system. Yesterday we concluded to the main dialog GUI and added some cool features (not core but mostly graphic enchantments) so it will probably be something like this More here http://i191.photobucket.com/albums....-82.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums....-06.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums....-68.jpg Until now we don't have any scripting error which is always good and we are working in order to predict and eliminate any possible exploit on the system. So summarizing on what this thing is doing. In order to load-move weapons you have to be pilot and have near you any BIs ammo crate or stock just like real life. Loading and unloading menu is available thought the user action menu on the right. A mission maker does not have to provide anything and more over he can determine which ammo boxes will place choosing his intended weapon / mag inventory and thus making the system more usable and more mission defined. Ammo and weapons are restricted according to ammo crates capacity and also UH-1 carrying capabilities so nobody can carry 1000 missiles at a time. There is a battlefield logistics error here since the ammo in Head Quarters will be unlimited but unfortunately the game engine can not subtract from cargo inventory's.We are trying to overcome this issue so as usual commends and ideas from community are always welcomed Finishing an other cool feature we discovered yesterday is that every time you put another box in cargo there is a change in geometry thus making the heli more heavy and difficult to control. So don't overload if you are intending to go into a hot zone So as we are waiting for Aplion to retrieve from his ship recked pc and finalize the UH-1 U.S. painting schemes we hope we will make more progress with cargo heli and "crossing fingers" we will not have any problem with it in dedicated MP Note here that despite pack 3 is beta tested as always this specific chapter/ function will be released as Alpha in order to get feedback from community and off coarse shorten the release date.   11. Hi manzilla, we have corrected the UH-1 incompatibility issue and since in the upcoming release we haven't really used any new eventhadles we hope no new problem will arise.
  12. Thanks Stewy, I am really glad you liked our models and especially Carl since this and LAW is my first models to be included in the HWM ;-) Oh I also forgot to mention that we thought about the FN flash supressor issue and we reworked it.
  13. Hi All, Just a quick progress report. Weapons are finally 99.9% despite some unexpected drawbacks due to patch 1.14 release. We have updated all recoils FoV's and bullet dispersion according to the new patch in order for our weapons to be as much compatible and match the new game standards Also we have managed to overcame the polygons limitations in UH-1 and we have incorporated a more higher detail M-60 on it.     wld427 both m60s portable - Huey's models are ready. We haven't incorporated it onto the Huey yet since we are working on other priorities for pack 3. Also XEH issue has been addressed as Raedor suggested in our internal versions. Stay tuned as we are hoping to release news of our new work within March.

    Sickboy I love the spirit. Speaking behalf of HWM I think that actions are stronger than words. We have proven that we are taking very seriously the opinions of the community. The more that are enjoying the fruits of our work the more inspiring it is, not only for us but for any addon maker. As said above we are always opened to new options and "directions" that will make these toys better. Everyone is free to help.... so everyone pls shoot

    Guys first off thanks all for your good words regarding our work. As already said we are off course positive to global compatibility, but we don’t have a magic want in order to fix everything instantaneous. Bugs and constant modifications are always needed in order to have the best result. If this was a “true†HWM bug then I would probably put it priority 1, but since this was incompatibility issue the only promise we good make at the time was that we would look into it. From my experience these thinks usually aren’t the fault of one group only but work vise vesta . Now since Killswitch and Raedor presented a solution be sure that I will crosscheck it and if it’s ok then next release (pack 3)will be corrected. I believe that this is a great community and we all have a lot to learn from each other. Quarrels and paid addons have no place here. Dwarden as Sparky said we probably lost “the†sarcasm part in the translation, so since this was a language thing I consider the matter closed.

    Rubberkite as shown above we are not offended. I did this because we feel offended and strongly disagree with comments like that. I am just saying that making HWM dependent on other addons (when there is no need to) is not an option. As I already stated, if you discover something that can be done to give compatibility in both addons, then there is no reason not to make the changes. Maybe the users of EH would willing to help too instead of making insulting comments.

    Well as said before, we bare no responsibility if other addons are not complaint with HWM. As stated before we are not considering this to be bug but we are looking into it for the lack of global compatibility. Rubberkite by making comments all event handlers you are not only disabling ignitions sfx and console damage inticators but also random tail numbers and destruction system. Also taking under consideration that there is no actual problem or bug with pack2, making HWM dependent on other addons is not an option. If off coarse we or the community discovers a solution that will give compatibility with out severing running functions we will glad to incorporate the changes to our next release.

    What do you think about paid addons idea?

    guys I think that most addon makers see this primary as a hobby. For me this is what makes the hole idea great. The fact that we already have so many addons and a lot other under way validates that the free system works just fine. Also we are not professionals so we have an open error threshold. We can always start from scratch and enjoy the hole process. So for me charging for an addon that you did or didn't make for the purpose of profit, nope.
