I remember once having played a demo of one of the "Jagged Alliance" games in which there was a grenade launcher which was a barrel (Like the HK-69) that ended like a mortar with a sort of plate (instead of the short stub), which was set against the soldier's breast and shoulder, the trigger being under the barrel at its front end IIRC (instead of being at the soldier's end as in the HK-69)- could be that it was fictional since I remember there were fictional weapons in it - but it looked cool and would be something different to see - dunno if it's possible but it would look less standard than the MilKor... Anyway, I was just reading about guns and I came across the russian TP-82 Space-carried gun, which looks like triple-barreled pistol-like weapon with two shotgun barrels on top and a rifle barrel below, with a detachable butt that works as a machette... That could be an antique side-arm-type weapon... What do you think?

I use Grabclipsave only for games which don't tax my resources too much because I've seen it fail, therefore for "heftier" games I use Fraps which, although it causes a small freeze every time it takes a screenie, is dependable to get the screenshot taken with every safety.

LOL ... yes, too true. I'm a non-practising protestant christian and the last time religion taxed my time was... Â Meaning, as long as religions aren't intrusive on lives and don't fight off criticism with any violent (or even criminal) means, then they have a right to exist - otherwise, they are very much something to be gotten rid of... Actually, come think of it, supah, I could compare your thoughts with fighting off disease - your point of view would be that the disease has a right to exist and that whoever poor person is befallen is suffering by it's own fate design - Whereas the opposition believes that action must be taken to fight a disease, especially if it's infectious...

I just recently downloaded the basic pack etc and I was wondering, there aren't units for all weapons, or did I miss something? Are there any West(Blufor) soldiers already configured to use the G3 rifle, or do I have to add it manually?

Have you tried out the combat prototype? I installed it once some time ago but didn't manage to get my joystick working to fly a fighter... Dunno if it's possible or not but haven't researched the forums of that game yet...

Well the MBT-70 would only be good for like a "mission"-thing (assuming the Cold War had gone hot and Germany would use EVERYTHING it had stashed in its inventories to stem the red tide, including old prototypes)... as for the M60A2's and M551's, I dunno about the former but since the 152mm cannon is quite short it could be useful in urban environments... as for the latter, well I bet the 82nd Airborne could definitely have been put to use in Europe, and AFAIK those had M551's, as well as other units... Hmmm, isn't there one in one of those monstrously-sized vietnam packs? And AFAIK the 82nd retained its M551's as far as the 1990's, so would fit in your timeframe...

Hope it will have openable rear doors, as well as the M577... By the way, would there be any chance of an M60A2 or M551? Or MBT-70 prototype? Would fit in that "area" of conflict, I think...

Freespace 2, how I love thee!!! Â Damn, that Nexus Jupiter incident looked good... *Has wet dream of Freespace 3 being done with such graphics* Actually, I think that the Freespace saga is probably the most desired one begging for a sequel, since the story is left open, with mankind able to discover/create/"cause" more warpgates/subspace connections, they shouldl find a way home... But since Nexus has been cancelled my hopes rest on Infinity and Zavtra Vojna (The Tomorrow War), the latter one's english version coming out due 2nd quarter of this year...
