This explains a lot to me. I wasn't aware of the fact that they were training together and the Germans were making fun of them.
-
The whole scene was so unreal for me. If someone's being shot I expect somethink like a lot of blood spraying from his body and the bullets making big holes and tearing his clothes apart. That's how I am affected by TV and movie effects...
-
fulcrum means falcon? AFAIK fulcrum is the NATO designation of the Mig-29. It's not a German word. I mean the patches have the same design, but are worn by different air forces which fly different planes. Who was the copycat?
-
Yes I thought that too, after all the lawyer seemed to be ok and could walk away... He must have been very lucky.
-
First I thaought this lawyer is Neo because he was dodging the bullets, but then I realised that the gunman had a non lethel weapon. It was pretty sad that noone tried to help him or even tried to hold the gunman after he went away. *Edit* Isn't there a woman on that picture who calls the police? OMG I should have read the article instead of relying on thet short report on TV... The gun was real!
-
I wouldn't start a flamewar now... It just doesn't bring us anywhere, so let's stop talking about it.
-
I wonder who ripped off that patch disign from the others. Germans or Americans?
-
thats nothing unusual. It happens when someone invades another country...
-
USAF Air refuling crews have some funny ones too.

"Service des eaux" LOL I'd like to see the reaction of thirsty french soldiers when they see this patch. Some more:
-
Do you know more inofficial patches? Post them here!
-
Why? Very nice translation ran! I tried to figure out what's said in the French poem, but now I understand it much better!
-
But they shouldn't be fired in a dry wood where every little cigarette could raise hell!
