hello guys I'v been experiancing this bug lately. when trying to board the little bird especially when there are alot of people trying to board it at the same time. my soldier does the animation of boarding it (puts his weapon on his back and does the climbing in animation) the thing is the soldier doesnt board it and this is where the bug happens i cannot aim my weapon any more as moving with the mouse only rotate the head (like if holding the "view" key deafault "alt" key) what ever i try it does not work and is really annoying since u cannot aim or change dirction when moving basicly the only way to fix it is exit the server completly (to the main menu and reconnecting) does any1 else have this problem? is there a workaround? I'm using the atari patch 1.8 i think the game thinks i'm still in the chopper while i'm not thus allowing me to only rotate my head like if ur sitting in a transport vehicle.

well i installed the latest drivers from ati (7.6 released 2 days ago) and it stopped restarting WOOooot! Â i had 7.5 b4 with no hot fix as the hot fix was making the game unplayable with shuttering every 10 sec. i think it had to do with th memory leak or something cause by the older drivers

it fixed my problem where the game restart 20 minutes into playing online.. it was weird.. single player was smooth with no problem.. in multi it would restart also it does not have the problem of shuttering every 10 sec like the hot fix did

hello guys I have a set of fuel trucks and ammo trucks. i gave them a waypoint (set is as  a support waypoint) so that if soldiers are out of ammo or fuel can call for support and the trucks will drive to them and help etc.. problem is, as soon as the vehicles reach the support waypoint, they exit their vehicles upon reaching it and if i try to use the support command, its empty as if there is no support units on the map to call. am I missing something? is there a workaround? thx for any help.

its kinda hard since the player is moving and i want the support to come from another close by base... basicly my support units are supposed to wait in a close by base until called upon.. so the player could be in different locations. i might go and try to find a script or something, its just weird since the support waypoint is supposed to do exactly what i'm trying to acheive.. but instead they exit the vehicles upon reaching it.

great servers, my favorit actually never had problems apart from my game restarting 20 min into an online game lots of peeps have this problem so hopefully it will get fixed somehow..hopefully

sorry about that.. i should have checked on what forum i was on.. had a few pages open (from each section) and ended up replying in the wrong one back to subject.. any1 else have this problem? is there a work around or am i just doing something wrong? cant find the answer anywhere

bah this sux.. cant even makeup what is happening so i can at least try to find a way around this problem.. basicly cant even play multiplayer I barely have time to play and when i do pc restarts after 20 minutes of playing online   hope this get fixed very soon

I also have the same problem.. could it be ATI driver related? i talked to some people online most of them have ati cards and they have the same problem.. it just restart the pc I have an ATI x1950 pro audio card is a creative Audigy 2 its usually happen after 20 min into a multiplayer game.. never does it in single player.. I usually play almost everything on high so i tried lowering settings and still reboots my pc in during multiplayer.. no blue screen whatso ever its just like if u pressed the reset button on my machine

hello guys I did a search around the forum but couldnt fin any answers what I'm trying to do is add a few custom faces to the official list of faces when editing ur profile (where u can pick ur face,voice pitch etc..) now if I understand correctly i need to edit a pbo file?? now the problem is i have no idea of what the face format has to be (.jpg or .paa) another problem is i have no tools to edit pbo files and i have no idea where is the pbo file located (for the face) to add my custom faces to it any help would be much appreciated as i'v been looking for this info for a while now tutorials/links are also welcomed again thx to any1 that tries to help

i just noticed this, if u hold left shift (to walk) when crawling u actually crawl a little bit slower

ok reinstalled the drivers without the hotfix.. smooth as silk but what worries me is if shuttering returns once they make new official drivers

hehe i'm also an ati user, came here to post about this exact problem, ic i'm not the only one.. i also got the hotfix i will try without it, running everything on high runs great except for the shuttering every 10 seconds...i'm off to uninstall/reinstall drivers.. hope when they do make the official driver fix it wont cause any shuttering.

thx god i saw a few "key activation problems" threads before i made a decision about getting the dl version or not. id be pissed to wait 3 days to play a game i payed for.. they should make it like steam where ur activation key is ur username and password, then they can bann accounts that are being used by multi users(as piracy protection and abuses). totaly unacceptable

hello all I live in quebec canada and i have been trying to get the game since its release but failed miserably it wasnt until 2day that I decided to order it from the atari website. I'm a huge fan of the original OFP and just think its a shame that this great game is so hard to find in some countries.. i really think its a waste of customers/$$ for BI I know 3 people (freinds) for sure who wont be getting the game because of this issue they wont bother oder it or get it via direct to drive.. hopefully with me getting soon might change their opinions i first thought about getting the download version from atari but then heard about all the activation problems..bah! hehehe did any1 else get any problems finding the game? anyways... cant wait to play online with u all

steam is actually good, i have many games that i got from them, never had any problems. and i doubt people whould have had ticket/keys problems with steam since ur username and password are they "key" to ur products all what they need to do for piracy protection is check if the account is being used by multi users and then bann that account.. no need to wait for keys each time u patch etc..

cant go to the states.. i'm wanted there!!! LOL just joking.. problems is i need to renew may passport and even if I do I almost dont have time to do it..well at least for just a game I decided to order it via atari.. ofcourse not the "direct to drive" version since i would hate to wait for some1 to send me a new key every time i spend my keys. the whole point of my post was mostly that its sad to see such a good game being underestimated/ignored by popular stores.. and its not because its availble to order online that it means people will order it.. like I said some of my freinds wont bother getting it.. its not because they dont like it.. some of them kinda fear ordering stuff i guess.. they are all OFP veterans. its a waste of profit for BIs .. less cash means less support for us, in the end we are all losing in some away. just my thought about it.

ow didnt see that post, I also live in montreal i think i went to every gaming store on that island lool gave up and ordered it online.. i usually hate ordering online.. had problems in the past and promised my self i would never do it again.. guess arma is worth braking the promise
