  3. ^ This. No point in giving these guys the attention they so desperately seek.
  4. Hardcore doesn't look very hardcore anymore.
  5. 155HR6aAUNE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=155HR6aAUNE You'd think Codemasters would want to invest a little more time into not coming off as totally pandering to the western gamer stereotype... In fact, all of these trailers can be summed up with just that one word: pandering.
  6. Too bad Red River doesn't have modding support then, eh? ;)
  7. Emotions, stress, anger nor tiredness will rarely exempt someone from making a clearly over-exaggerated, flame-baiting remark, unless they have a very good reason for it. Frankly, you need to take a break if you're getting so worked up over a video game, but who's even saying any of what you said was what was going on with metalcraze when he made his remark?

    Tanks are really unrealistic

Accusations of people jumping to the defense of the game like "mindless fanboys", people jumping to their own defense with "you're delusional and can't accept the game you like isn't perfect." :) I don't deny the game has problems, I think it's better for people to go about pointing them out without telling the devs to "walk outside" in that "you're so unaware of reality that you need to go outside and not sit in front of your computer all the time" sense, and that their work is "pathetic." ;)

    Color depth?

Try increasing your setting for HDR. I find that helps, but it does seem to cause lower performance.

    USMC Pack

I think you missed the "Oscar Mike it to those footmobiles over there by the Burger Town, Ramirez!" part, PuFu. :p
  11. Try not to be so easily trolled. ;)

    FDFmod 1.0

My personal favorite mod of all time has finally made its Arma 2 debut! Friggen awesome! :D Thanks to all the members of the FDF team. You guys are the best.
  13. Made a post explaining what those mean in the thread for the last release candidate: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?p=1865694#post1865694 :) The C missions appear to be the ones that really move the campaign along. The I ones are... "Transitional" missions. Or perhaps "filler" missions.

Libyan Air-force ordered to bomb protesters

It's not like the east is absolved of such things either, my friend. You sound like you're living in the USSR in the 1940s and 50s, with those evil capitalist pigs being the root of all the worlds evils, and that communism is the answer all the worlds problems. Funny thing is on the other side of the pond, the same claims were made in reverse. ;) Oust a legitimate government that even former allies of are starting to call illegitimate.

So has Gadhafi, and yet there are many other testimonies stating otherwise. In fact, a simple Google search reveals more testimonies proving that attacks on civilians are taking place than those saying they aren't. I guess the common thought here is that if anyone in the west says something's happening, it's a lie, and if anyone outside of the west is saying something's happening, it's gotta be factual. :)

Libyan Air-force ordered to bomb protesters

Hypothetical events, just like the rage over the hypothetical involvement of American ground troops or the hypothetical break out of a war compared to that of Iraq or Afghanistan, hence he thinks that the reason we'll hypothetically go to war with Libya is a lie just like it was recently revealed to have been in Iraq. The anger people feel here seems bent more towards the ifs, rather than what is actually happening or going to happen. Also, here's an interesting related article on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/03/20/bergen.libya.us/index.html?iref=NS1

Libyan Air-force ordered to bomb protesters

Just because the American people are having economic and social problems of their own they should not be trying to prevent the mass-murdering of thousands at the hands of a guy who's obviously going to do it the minute he gets the chance? The Americans aren't the only ones involved in this, and they aren't the only ones with economic, social and political problems of their own. They recognize that the defenseless people of Libya need to be protected, since their own leader would rather kill them than negotiate with them, and the rag-tag rebel forces are falling apart as Gadhafi ramps it up.

Canada goes where the UN goes, therefore we stayed out of Iraq. The guy's been known to be loopy for years, this just proves that he's the dangerous, destructive and yes, mass-murdering kind of loopy, therefore he needs to go.

Libyan Air-force ordered to bomb protesters

Of course it's not nearly the scale, nor is it as complicated, nor is it likely to have such a lasting impression, but you asked how you can compare it to WW2 and the most obvious answer to that is the murdering of innocent people and our responding to it. And we should stop all of them or none at all? What kind of logic is that?

Libyan Air-force ordered to bomb protesters

In the most basic sense? A maniacal dictator is murdering innocent people, and we're stepping in to stop him.

Libyan Air-force ordered to bomb protesters

But not Libya, right? Despite being the ones with the most solid proof of having murdered their own people? Libya was also an "ally" of the west before this too.

You seem to forget that even the Arab League are involved in these efforts. They too are standing against what Gadhafi is doing to his people, not just the west. But I presume you are also critical of the Arab governments to the same degree as you are of the west, yes?
