I have some real problems with this game.
No crashes as such, just graphical glitches etc.
My specs;
P4 3.06GHZ HT CPU
1Gb RAM
250GB SCSI Hard disk
XP Pro
ATI X800 PRO 256MB Card
(Catalyst 7.2)
I get really horrible artifacts on screen and some models are not even textured. Some trees appear all blocky. Doesn't seem to matter what resolution or advanced gfx settings I use it still looks awful.
I can play the original OFP and it looks so much nicer, better texture quality etc.
Arma looks awful even when there is no graphical corruption on screen.
I don't seem to have any problems in any other games that are graphically challenging.
I've tried disabling shaders and lowering shadows but that doesn't help.
I have only just got the game and installed 1.05 so never tried the basic install or any previous patches. Should I try the basic install instead or 1.02 or 1.04??
