I just threw a little banner toghether for the Locator. Standard 468x60 size. I made it in 2 minutes, so don't complain if you think it sucks... (if anyone wanna make a better one, please do). I have put it in rotation on my site, and anyone else who wanna do that; go right ahead and put it on your site. (PS: hope it's ok der bastler and Albert Schweizer, that I've done this? Just thought I'd promote the idea a little bit ) Here it is:

Ok, uploading of your wallpapers are now possible! Just follow the instructions I gave in the post above somewhere! Since I have heard nothing, I guess no one has any objections to me putting up the wallpapers in this thread so far. So that will be done now. (the upload problem was caused by my host... they had messed around with the open_basedir settings on the server, and wouldn't acknowledge it before I sent them printscreens of gallery's test and diagnostics of the server...)

How about making this as an addon? I was thinking... how about making a oldstyle western town? Complete with saloon, cowboys, whorehouse, horses, etc... ...which got me thinking again... how about making this for an addon: The DeLorean from Back to the Future movies. Both drivable and flyable!

I just discovered that uploading in the gallery is not possible. This is due to the fact that NetPBM or ImageMagick isn't working correctly. This is a problem my host has to fix, I've notified them of the problem and I hope they'll fix it soon. I'll notify you with a post here as soon as it is fixed.

Ok, this is what I've done: I've set up a gallery called wallpapers, and set permissions so that you all can upload your own wallpapers to it. Here is the gallery! Just click on the album, go into the pulldown menu in top right corner and choose "add photos". That will launch the uploader in a new window, where you can add the wallpapers and upload them. Hope at least some of you will put your wallpapers there

Acecombat; if you mail them to me, I'll host them in my wallpaper gallery. mail: thore@flashpoint2source.com

Could I have everyones attention for a moment? Ok... I was considering uploading all wallpapers posted here in a OFP wallpaper gallery at my site Flashpoint2source So if you don't want your wallpaper in that gallery, now is the time to tell me. I will credit the wallpapers with your nicks here at the forum unless you tell me otherwise. A PM is perhaps better than posting an answer here. Thanks for your attention.

New release date worldwide: Spring 2006?
WargamingNor replied to TheLemon's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Some say january 2005, others say sometime in 2006...I say "when it's done!" ...no wait, that was George Broussard on DNF... No certain date yet, I would guess 2006 myself. -
What? That's the most outrageous thing I've heard this week! (hmmm but it is only monday... ) ...I feel pretty much the same as you placebo, only that I get that old feeling sunday... not monday...

Yeah... they could TRY and dub it to english language or others... I hate dubbing - period! Â (germans are notorious in dubbing everything though...) EDIT; some martial art flicks and other old Hong Kong movies can be insanely funny due to dubbing... that's the only dubbing I can half approve of...

WargamingNor replied to tracy_t's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
As far as zombies go, Bub is my favorite! -
Longjocks atleast is a moderator over at Codies. 17/9 isn't the greatest date to have birthday....18/9 on the other hand... Well Placebo... for another week or so I'm just as young as you... (or was it old... do you feel old? )

New release date worldwide: Spring 2006?
WargamingNor replied to TheLemon's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Concerning the Xbox version; I've been running a poll some weeks at my site Flashpoint2source on the subject if people will buy it or not. It's only 62 votes, but the results are not that positive... Â -
New release date worldwide: Spring 2006?
WargamingNor replied to TheLemon's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
I have to agree that changing the dates on the product pages would be a good idea. As someone stated; people unaware of OFP in general, (hmmm does they exist? ) that might happen to find the product pages on the BIS site and don't read the forums are likely to go to their local store and beat up the poor clerk because OFP 2 isn't on the shelves around christmas! (not an totally unlikely scenario...people go bananas and don't have a temper worth diddly doo come christmas shopping mania...). Why leave the community and make a fuzz about it? Leave and come back, whatever... (trřndere er noen rare dyr...drikker bare karsk og har bart... ...this should be understandable for colossus at least...) -
I'm hoping this movie comes to norwegian cinemas, but so far I haven't been able to find out anything substantial... Have anyone of you seen the full length interview with the actual Traudl Junge? The one that's featured as a special in the series "The World at War". You should, it's very interesting. (I have the entire collection of this series on DVD, and although it's 30 years since its making, it's still the best documentary on WWII)

Have a little patience guys... I think we will know more and have updated sites within christmas (and hey... christmas is only 3 months away!) BTW; check out this thread over at the OFP2 section at the Codies forums! Thank god people on this forum are a bit more grown up than this guy... Â (and yeah...I'm RogueFreak...) -
Sounds good, so good luck with this one! ...I just have to ask...is Arne your real name? If so, are you from the nordic countries?
-
Hmm yes...and more. FPS is short for First Person Shooter, and you can play with first pers view in OFP... but you can also use 3rd pers and tactical view, so OFP is a multitalented sonofa... Not many FPS games I can think of if realism is everything... OFP obviously! SWAT 3 - for reasons as stated by Icefire Most Clancy games can be viewed as pretty realistic (the whole R6 series, GR and SOAF), but I feel these titles comes in short when compared to OFP and SWAT 3. America's Army to some degree... Hmmm are there more? Full Spectrum Warrior will perhaps be realistic (haven't tried the Xbox version, just waiting for the PC version) SWAT 4 will hopefully continue the trend from SWAT 3 (if they make a more actiongame out of it, I will be pissed off!) Ghost Recon 2? ...maybe not...

At last... a fellow polarbear/viking!

I want this as an addon: It's the olympic skating hall from the 94 winter olympics in Hamar, Norway; Vikingeskipet! Nowadays, also the home for Norways biggest LAN party; The Gathering.
-
... or how about a recreation of Berlin with the Love Parade? ...ahh ok that one was over the top...maybe....
-
You can change me from Oslo to Hamar. Hamar is the biggest City near me (well actually I live right smack in the middle between Hamar and Lillehammer, so any of those is fine! You know... the olympic cities from the Winter Olympics in 94?) But I'm feeling lonely in Norway on the map... Come on, I know there are more norwegians here!

I'm glad to say I'm safe enough on my own sexuality, that I can joke with this stuff  And no matter if Village People are the embodiment of homosexual music, they still have some of the greater discosongs from the 70's! (and Victor is a quite handsome man, ain't he? Women on this forum speak up! ) Anyone wanna comment on my suggestion on carradios?
