To my disappointment i found out that nobody in the BAS team listened to my request to use a realistic ACOG reticle. The out-of-scale reticle is still used in the current weapons. Tell me guys! Do you ever take feedback seriously?
-
Excellent work ...as usual! Downloading now. I hope the ACOG reticle has been fixed.
-
LOL at least the model shouldn't have too many polys!
-
Scary, ain't it? I just hope the barking dog doesn't bite. It was quite amusing hearing the North Koreans make such a fuss about the worst James Bond -movie ever made! Imagine the canadians getting pissed off by the South Park movie!
-
The Cobra is not an air combat maneuver! It's an aerobatic maneuver, period!

Excellent details! This is how all addon models should be like!

Too bad nobody has bothered to make a good modern air surveillance radar with a radome. Like the ones seen in IGI. Would make a good spec op mission to blow these things up in preparations for an air assault.
-
Excuse me for being a bit off-topic, but if the addon makers get tired or run into a tight schedule, couldn't they find another addon maker who could take over? This way we wouldn't have so many nearly complete addons that never made it to release. P.S. Looking forward to fly that MiG-21 ...and shoot it down
-
I hope these things will be incoporated in the next vestion of SEB Ia Trang island

Link didn't work, but I got to see the pics thru browsing the contents of http://deadsoldier.evilmadman.com/ Very beautiful work on the MiG-29 ...hope it'll have engine sounds Oh! Btw... did you know that the MiG-29:s cannon is burst limited to about 10 rounds? (probably that's why it carries only 150rounds)

Rest assured there will only be two bombs on the outer wing pylons.<span id='postcolor'> You mean 2 bombs on one outer wing pylon or did you mean both pylons total 2 bombs? 2x500lbs=1000lbs I don't think the outer wing pylons are qulified to mount racks. You see, 2 Mk82s would alone total 1000lbs, so if you add the rack you'd exceed the maximum allowed load limit. The outer wing pylon can carry either a single Mk82 or 83. Personally i'd prefer a mixture of bombs and rockets on the ground attack version. In other words, 12 Mk82s total + 38 FFARs

Would it be difficult to add smoke effect on fixed-wing aircraft cannons? I recall seeing the smoke effect on DKM:s Comanche, and I'm wondering why no-one has added this feature to fighters!
-
WOW! Why haven't i noticed this pack before? That smoke effect looks good indeed! I still think the GAU-8 should be beefed up a bit tho.

A-4's maximum allowed external stores loads: Centerline: 3500lbs Inboard underwing pylons:2200lbs Outboard underwing pylons: 1000lbs Mk81=250lbs ~125Kg Mk82=500lbs ~250Kg Mk83=1000lbs ~500Kg Mk84=2000lbs ~1t You do the maths, and dont forget the racks aren't weightless either!

I'd rather recommend using OFPman1:s version as a base rather than the one you mentioned. Rocket version here Bomb version here Go check it out! The cockpits and the stores need some remodeling, but the aircraft model is right on.
-
A-4's can carry a helluva load of bombs compared to its size! This picture is NOT altered in any way!
-
Would it be possible? Because I'm under the impression that all weapons on fixed-wing aircrafts will point straight forward. I hope I'm wrong!
-
The real apache's rocket pods aim up and down a little. Could this be made possible in OFP? Meybe you'd have to define another turret for it, which is not (yet?) possible Anyway, another thing i'd like to see is stiger tubes on wingtips and maybe a longbow radar. And yes, we definately need a new pilot model!
-
This mod is a joke!
-
I'd like to see a C130 with an improved model working gauges and better cockpit visibility. The first release of the c130 looks more like it's been made out of wood! It also sounded more like a piston-engined plane rather than a turboprop.

<span id='postcolor'> What do you mean "by laser or by ground radar"? You don't need to have a laser designator or a radar to drop "dumb" bombs. Just a HUD info of the target box and a diamond indicating that if you drop NOW the bombs will fall close enough to the target to do some damage.
-
What about the Mk82 bombs on the tornado? They "lock on", but they don't home on the target by themselves. You still get a diamond box indicating the correct release point. This simulates the CCIP pretty good, or even CCRP when issuing a target and telling the gunner to fire.
