    NH-90 Eurocopter Tiger Mi-28 Mi-24 (with retracting gear and a fixed 23-mm cannon version) AH-64D Longbow Apache Blackhawk with Gecal .50 a.k.a GAU-19 All above with features such as Incoming missile warnings, IR jammers, possibly flares, GPS maps, and HUDs (don't know about Apache's IHADSS tho)

    Is there any way to detect the arrestor hook position in this script, for plane addons that have working arrestor hooks? (i.e. Col. Klink's A-4 Skyhawk and RAD_F/A-18C). This script could be use for airports as well, to simulate emergency arrestor landings.

It uses FDF addons, and Lavos' zu-23, DKM XA-188 apc, and almost anything that even looks finnish. It's basically a flight of 2 hornets and 2 hawks intercepting an su-25 strike package. Too bad there are no fighters around to escort them

    *ahem* The F/A-18F is not a specifically a "reconnaissance version" It's just a 2-seater version of the E "Super hornet". You make almost any figter a reconnaissance plane by arming it with a TARP pod. Anyway, it occurred to me when I was playing my quick multiplayer mission with this superb addon, that the "aggressors", the blue and the brown hornets, could be moved to the east side, because they are merely used to simulate the enemy fighters in trainings, not as first-line fighters. I's suggest that in the next version the brown version would be put to the east side, and the blue version to the resistance side.

    I believe the RAF doesn't use the red-white-blue roundels anymore. Instead they use red-blue roundels. I don't think the roundels are painted on the rudder either. Instead they paint these red-blue diagonal stripes

    I made a user mission to test how the AI would handle this baby. I found out that the AI would sometimes fire AMRAAMs like crazy! Sometimes AI fires amraams in salvos of 4 or 5, or maybe it just keeps firing them until the first missile hits and destrys the target. You probably should change the AI rate of fire in the config.cpp

If you spot an Anti-Aircraft unit and have no Maverics, well I hope you've got a handful of flares and a bag full of luck! It was me who suggested that the Sidewinders be a part of the aircraft model itself, not as a detachable weapon. This way it would act like a tube launched weapon, meaning that when the missile was fired, the projectile would launch in front of the wingtip sidewinder, but the aircraft would look like it still carried the missiles, even when fired. The points for non-proxy weapons in O2 as I understand it are L_strela, R_strela(guided weapons) , L_raketa, P_raketa(non-guided weapons/FFARs). The chaff launcher already takes the raketa-positions, and Hudson was having problems with the strela-positions, so I guess we'll have to settle for inactive 9-Mikes for now. One intreresting thing is that if you'd have the 9-Mikes as detacheble proxy weapons, then you probably wouldn't get folding wings, because it would look stupid when the wings would fold up, but the missiles would stay hovering where they are.

    The OFP community is doing its best pushing the game limitations! If Sniping out of helicopters will be made possible, then we're not far away from passengers firing their weapons thru the firing ports of an APC!
