The LAU-60 pod in the picture doesn't differ much from the LAU-3 pod used in Vietnam, except for the lenth maybe. Both pods carry 19 rockets and they form a hexagon. LAU-3 LAU-60 And Footmunch... You don't need a dedicated A/A version to add the sidewinders to the launch rails. It doesn't take up the pylon itself. If you guys are wondering what those poles on the Mk-82s are, they make the bombs explode just above the ground giving it a bigger blast/frag radius. This is an interesting loadout configuration I stumbled across while searching through these pics I've never seen LGBs on Sparrow mounts, although I've seen an ECM pod on one in the F-4G Wild Weasel, but this is just a picture of a plastic model, so I'm not sure if this is possible IRL Here's a pretty nice gallery of all kinds of F-4 variants. They're all Plastic models, but they're pretty much authentic. Remember to add the HARM adapter to the pylons if you're going to make an F-4G Wild Weasel Cheers!

Could you either remove the second napalm canister from the centerline station, or replace the MK82s and FFAR pods with them on the inboard wing pylons. They look stupid in the centerline station. Also it would be nice to have 4 sidewinders on the inboard wing pylons' launch rails *wink, wink* Â Oh, and the rocket pods' textures look funny. The holes form a hexagonal pattern rather than a circular pattern ...and one pod has 19 holes.

I remember there was some radar building addon made out of several pieces, including a static M2 machine gun. It was under "groups" so that when you added it, all the pieces were on the right place. Could this be done with the Nimitz, so that all the carrier pieces would be on the right places with the Phalanxes and Sea Sparrows and all?

My opinions about Vit's addons. The guy works very hard and he has produced more addons of the msot needed aircraft than anyone else. His addons incorporate features like countermeasures, airbrakes, afterburners and such. Therefore I think of Vit as one of the most productive addonmakers in the OFP community. However his modelling capabilities leave something to be desired. It looks as he makes all his models by the hand without the help of any blueprints. Why Seademon's Mig-29 is better than Vit's -It has 6 weapon hardpoints. Vit's has 10 - two of the missiles are even mouted on wingtips! -Seademon's has 3 different types of correctly modeled air-to-air missiles: AA-10 Alamo, AA-8 Aphid, and AA-11 Archer. Vit just uses some missiles that appear to me as common Sidewinders -Seademon has an accurate 3d-modeled cockpit with working gauges and HUD textures (not working tho). Vit seems to have just copied a cockpit texture from Jane's USAF and slabbed it on a flat surface. -Seademon's canopy opens correctly. The canopy frame and the front part stays put. Some things that are better on Vit's Mig -Speed Brake -Multiple camo schemes (altho not all entirely accurate) -AI can take off and land with it

This addon beats the hell out of any existing Mig-29 addons, at least until Deadsoldier&Marine release theirs Just a couple of things that bugs me: -It's almost impossible to taxi on the ground. It cannot turn tight enough on these small airfields. -The roll rate is a bit too fast for us joystick users. -The "forcage" by which I believe the author means afterburner can accelerate the aircraft from stall speed to 700km/h in vertical flight in just a couple of seconds! -On the other hand the "Stop on" or brake chute brings the aircraft to a halt in just a couple of meters. Then some suggestions: -HUD -Flares Å• la Footmunch -CAS version armed with rocket pods or FABs -RITA (russian bitching betty) - I can provide the sounds!

BTW, Does the cat script utilize any steam (smoke) effects when the aircraft launches or is it just for accelerating the aircraft?

I'd like to see the artillery be able to use smoke rounds for creating a smokescreen in preparations for attacks. Also the artillery firing illumination rounds for battlefield illumination during the night missions would come in handy. Some addons I'd like to see in UA M198 155mm 2S19 MSTA M46 130mm If someone is making a surface vessel with naval guns, please make them UA compatible!

Are the m252 sounds the same as the M203/other GL sounds? They aren't the best sounds for mortars, but I guess it depends entirely on the addons themselves rather than the UA. I think the Shell whistles could be replaced with something better tho.

The Roundel is at the wrong place! In this picture you see the finnish draken with the roundel on the vertical tail surface. The roundel should be just below the canopy.

Why would we need roundels for it? Does any other air force apart from the Japanese use this transport plane?

How about ARMs? Can you make air to ground missiles that lock only on targets that are tracking your aircraft?
